um, and why can’t we just leave the food in its own freezer bag that it came from? I don’t seem to have any issues. I have a family of 8 and this is too much. It doesn’t even help them, just helps myself in some way which I don’t think makes much a difference for me at this time. But I will continue to watch these videos lol 😂

I think you need to do so for some fruits and vege for longer preservation in case you can't really finish them fast within a few days, can prevent/slow down further ripening/oxidation
