Great vlog miss Florida so much should of gone 24th April been a few times without going to the parks there is so much more to do keep up the good work looking forward to next vlog...mick
Port Orleans Riverside is really not AS big as it seems. Depending on where you stay, it could be a 10-15 min walk from your room to the main area (which has multiple entrances depending which direction you're coming from). It's actually smaller than Caribbean Beach. If you stay in the Pirate Rooms at Caribbean Beach, it's easily a 15-20 min walk from your room to the main area. If you stay in the Tiana rooms at Port Orleans, and you get lucky, you can literally just walk across a bridge to the main lobby area (not the back area) and boom, you're there. Probably a 5-7 min walk depending how fast you walk. Otherwise, yeah, about a 10 min walk from everywhere else. Definitely bigger than the All Star resorts, though. You could probably walk from one end to the other of one of those in 10 minutes. It's also REALLY pretty and the pool is fun. They do have other "quiet" pools or, well, "local" pools with no frills closer to the two areas (manor houses and bayou houses), but the main one has a slide and a few water features. The boat ride to/from Disney Springs is REALLY peaceful (as I'm sure you experienced), especially if you go in the evening or even at night in the dark. I definitely recommend you check it out at least for a night or two next time you come! (For comparison, Port Orleans French Quarter next door is MUCH smaller and probably comparable in size to one of the All Star resorts).
