Fun Fact: EVERGLOW actually has a storyline that connects all the albums, songs and music videos together. It’s referred to as “The EVERGLOW Universe”. One member confirmed their storyline in a showcase for the mini-album that came out with DUN DUN named “Reminiscence”.
”The EVERGLOW Universe is basically about us girls from the future saving the world and healing those wounded by factors like pollution” one member explained.
Bon Bon Chocolat and Adios are like the introduction or prologue of the story and Dun Dun is the first chapter.
Bon Bon Chocolat - The girls are helping those who are imprisoned by their own doubts helping people to bring out their real potential. They help people to go up to the sky because victory is as sweet as Bon Bon Chocolat.
Adios- The girls help those who are stuck in a toxic relationship filled with lies. The girls teach these people that it’s better to say adios to that kind of love than to suffer even more.
Dun Dun- The girls expose our society. They expose the double-standards against women. They expose the problematic men in the industry who sing about how they treat women like objects and toys. (Keep in mind that the MV takes place in Antartica.)
No Lie (a b-side) - The member explained that this song in particular is very important for the story. This song can be understood as a love song, but it’s much deeper. ‘No Lie’ is actually quite depressing. It’s a love letter to our environment on how they miss the old days where forests were green, the sky was blue, and ice glaciers were plentiful in Antartica (this is a connection to Dun Dun). They sadly sing about how the snowflakes are falling in the ground like ghosts, that the wonders of nature are gone. And there are a lot of people who choose to be blind and think that global warming is all a lie. This is the song about pollution that the member brought up. They are telling people that global warming is real and that it’s already too late and this is No Lie
