    I think your videos and collection resonate with most home growers. Thanks for sharing and keep making them.

    To clarify: It takes 11-15 leaves above the cluster to ripen it. Any clusters above the primary cluster is a 'secondary' cluster. Thanks for showing us your trees.

    Prune that grapevine next year way down so its only producing 20 clusters. All the energy into less clusters! As an example: high quality wine grape vines may be only 10 clusters--with no secondary clusters--they ripen later. "drop" those now. Cut em off. I'm learning about figs, but I do know grapes.

    Really great progress. I’m enjoying watching them come along. Thanks for sharing
    Do you do anything for the fig mites? My green M is also my worst tree with that. I’m trying a spray I read should help.

    • @figtreegrower3152
      @figtreegrower3152  18 дней назад +1

      I applied horticultural oil about a month ago and then did sulfur recently to try and reduce them.

      @@figtreegrower3152 thank you. I’m in for the long run with you. Love what you’re doing and sharing. Let’s definitely compare notes on the fig mites later. After I spray one more time, and waiting because it’s pretty toxic, I am going to purchase and release this specific mite to attack them and keep at bay permanently. My figs are younger than yours and not as much fruit yet, so I’m doing the spraying now before they have more fruit next year. Funny the mites are only on my potted plants, not inground.

      Are your potted plants a distance away from the in grounds? Maybe they haven’t been exposed yet or maybe the winter kills them off? Time will tell

      @@figtreegrower3152 I wish I could put a heart. I’ll be sure to keep that in mind lol. Don’t want my in ground monsters to be affected. They are like 10 trees in one. I need serious time to bring them back down to size

    Do you went the trees with water before spraying the Sulphur dust? Why can’t you just mix it with water and spray it directly?

    • @figtreegrower3152
      @figtreegrower3152  15 дней назад +1

      I just apply it with the trees dry. It’s easiest for me to just use the duster and dry powder

    Sulfur will burn after 100F weather. And do not spray any oil when you use sulfur until its fully washed off and cant be seen. Or you will cook ur tree
