Einstein never nearly understood gravity or time. He was not a high level genius. I have exposed Einstein. I have totally outsmarted Einstein. I have surpassed Newton and Einstein. This is like detective work. Here are the facts.
BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand. The following is consistent with WHAT IS E=MC2 AND F=ma. Gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. GRAVITATIONAL force/ENERGY IS proportional to (or BALANCED with/AS) inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity; AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. This is consistent with what is E=MC2 AND F=ma. Now, ON BALANCE, carefully consider what is the fully illuminated AND setting/WHITE MOON. E=MC2 IS F=MA. Accordingly, ON BALANCE, the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution. ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY (AND NECESSARILY) proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). Great !!!! In understanding SPACE, what is gravity, TIME, AND time dilation (ON BALANCE), it is important is it to understand what is a BALANCED displacement of what is SPACE. ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity ON/IN BALANCE.
Consider what is E=MC2. TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE. Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE. (c squared CLEARLY represents a dimension of SPACE ON BALANCE.) Indeed, the stars are POINTS in the night sky ON BALANCE. The rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution. Consider what is THE EYE, AND notice what is the TRANSLUCENT AND BLUE sky ON BALANCE. NOW, consider what is the BALANCED MIDDLE DISTANCE in/of SPACE. CLEARLY, BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE is fundamental (ON BALANCE). “Mass"/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Particle physics based on real dimensions of space-time" [Volume 09; issue 10; 2022] - arcjournals - International journal of advanced research in physical science - Open access for free download.
To think, how the electrons entering the slit knows whether an observation is made on it or the detector is switched ON/OFF and change its results (pattern on the screen) accordingly, is the confusion. This even led the scientist to wonder if quantum mechanics is a future deciding factor of human life. The answer is simple, the experimentation has to include the observer such that observer is equal to observing object together undergoing one of two results at a time. One may think, it is like surrendering oneself and cease to think anymore. No, it is not so.

This is so blindly obvious I don't see what the problem is.. I'd say the particle is a permanent imbalance in the very same medium.

A wave is spread across. In a double slit experiment, if the wavefunction representing the electron, hits the slits, shouldn’t that be a measurement and shouldn’t that collapse the wavefunction? Now, you'll say it's not a physical wave, it's a probability wave. But then how does a probability wave split into two after the slits? Then, it should be like, the wave hits the slits, the electron says, dude I'm going through the slits, so don't collapse, but you can split into two and diffract. When does it decide that it's going through the slit?

      Does it work that way?
Is this the only method to detect which slit the photon passed through?

Having been involved designing instruments that used light primarily, I did not loose too much sleep worrying about which side was “correct”, just about which one best governed the problem at hand. Put copious amount of light on a stage, illuminate without heat the inside of a persons mouth, or measuring the size and velocity of particles exiting an aerosol can. I guess the “engineer” mindset triumphed. What is it they are called? Oh, yeah applied physicists.

what happens if you only cover a part of the opening with a detector? why does the "non slit" part not count as a detector? why does air not count as a detector? does a photon carry a "detection-bit" of data? does it forget that it has been observed after some time?

    • @ThePinkus
      @ThePinkus 3 года назад

      1. As in only one of the slits being covered by a detector, or even only part of the slits covered by the detector? The treatment is essentially decohering between the area checked by the detector and its complement. This means the state is no longer a superposition but a mixture over the propagation through the complementary areas. What this implies is that we will observe at the screen two patterns overlaid, no interference between the two patters, one resulting from the propagation from the area checked and one from the complement area. This covers all situations. You can consider 4 detectors, one for the upper half or the left slit, one for the lower part of the left slit, and likewise for the right slit, then You get 4 patterns overlaid.
      2. It could. A single photon can be detected at the first screen with the slits in it, or, alternatively, at the final screen.
      3. I am not sure what You mean. In relation to 4. as in carrying the information "I have been observed"?
      4. I use the term measurement instead of observation to distinguish an objective evolution from a subjective update of knowledge. What happens at the slits with detectors is the evolution of the state corresponding to the interaction between the particle and the detectors (ideally establishing correlating entanglement between particle and detectors, without affecting the particle otherwise). The subsequent evolution continue from this state and in this sense it does not forget, unless specific operations are applied to reverse the process and assuming they remain practically feasible (a macroscopic detector will be environmentally decohered very quickly preventing this).

Actually, it must be pointed out that the pilot theory interpretation is certainly wrong, since, contrary to standard quantum theory, it is incompatible with the special theory of relativity. Also the many world interpretation is certainly wrong and inconsistent. In fact, contrary to the stated intentions, it does not solve the problem of the collapse of the wave function, since, after each measurement, it is necessary to collapse the wave function, otherwise the wave function evolved according to the Schrodinger equation, it would provide erroneous predictions in every subsequent measure. On the other hand, if we do not make any measurements, the predictions of the non-collapsed wave function are correct. This is one of the unsolved problems of the parallel universe interpretation, which in fact assumes the Schrodinger equation as its fundamental law, but then implicitly assumes its violation (since the collapse of the wave function is a violation of the Schrodinger equation ) without providing any rational justification. As often happens, to hide these inconsistencies, the supporters of this interpretation always remain vague as regards the so-called “branching”, that is the generation of infinite universes. This pseudo-interpretation has nothing to do with science, and not even with philosophy. Prof. Marco Biagini

I have published a series of papers (totally 9 nos.) on "Theory of Singularity". Hope this new proposed study serves one fundamental for general relativity and quantum mechanics by solving incompatibility between them.

What happens if we place an additional slit at the location of maximal interference on the initial screen such that we create a second screen behind the first?
Such that if the photon hit the screen of the second detector it must have gone through the point where interference was maximal?
Also if the second detector does detect the presence of an electron or photon would there be a single band or multiple bands? Because if the photon passes through this point, it would be out of phase with respect to the other slit?
So I would expect there to be two bands on the second screen if there was any at all.
Do any photons hit the area between the bands of maximal lines of maximal detection? Does it have a lower probability of hitting one of these locations or is not possible to hit these locations at all?

This experience proved the non locality of quantum physics...which is a mind blowing concept.
Else the Alain Aspect experience is in itself just a jewel of ingeniousity.

This man may be a great scientist, but he cannot pick suitably fitting clothes , unless that’s meant to be a wizards jacket 😂

I think it's not stated strongly enough that the "many worlds" interpretation still doesn't lessen the extent to which a single photon still has it's location governed by wave mechanics.
I really appreciate these videos Dr. Lincoln.

Dr. Lincoln, the "moment " we detect the particle we "collapse " the wave function, regardless of how we detect it, correct? Hence, no longer we have the wave function as a probability anymore, it is a particle (detectable within some location and with some range of motion. Doesn't this help explaining the phenomenon?

How you can detect the photon an do not absorb it?

You showed that after shooting many individual photons through the slits they would start gathering in the same interference pattern. Why do most illustrations online show individual particles only gathering in the shape of the 2 parallel slits?

When two peaks hit the wall and combine for a bright spot, is there a way to convert them back to being a single beam of light like they were before they went through the two slots instead of a combination of two waves? I'm making logic gates out of light, but I can't have more than one stage if I can't make the bright spot act like a single beam instead of two beam constructively interfering with each other in that point is space. The light needs to pass through another set of slits for the second gate, but if the light entering the second set of slits is already an interfering set of beams instead of a single coherent beam, you get a mess. Any ideas?

its a particle purley on the basis that light is emitted in striaght lines and its only when it meets outside interference does it change its format...
all energy emitted is positive energy...
    hope those helps

Another example of particle distribution is when you drink your favorite coffee. Your lips will imprint a certain pattern of coffee near the lid. It’s measuring the differences between the weaker and greater gravitational forces in your locality.

If the location of where we will find a particle is governed by the probabilistic wavefunction, it seems quite reasonable that as we fire a single electron/photon through the double slit it will over time form that “interference pattern”, no?

Is the material used for the slits going to electromagnetically reorient the stream of particles?

Explain in more detail by what is meant by observing the photon with a detector at the slits. How does the detector work? How does it detect the photon without affecting it in some way?
