This performance is so relaxing to the mind. I almost fell to sleep. It also sounds like Christmas music. Very nice.

This obviously isn't an A clarinet. Is it a bassethorn? I like the low notes very much!

Clarinet should be microphoned for the large auditorium the piece is being played in.

It's the soloist's job to project into the hall. A clarinet does not need amplification.

It is not jazz. The sound on the stage is fine. Reproduction of this type of concert is a challenge for the recording science. It is quite likely that it sounded better live than this recording as any other classical music recording. Another reason to listen to music live rather than RUclipsd!

Um, no. Can't you hear his beautiful playing every moment? You may need your hearing checked.

Conductor dragged the second movement something awful. What a shame. But no surprise. Conductors often ruin masterful performances of soloists and orchestras.

I find it fits well to the character of this Adagio. Really rapturously.

Compare this masterpiece by Mozart to the Symphony Concertante for winds by a FAKE "Mozart."
