Hello NO!!! It’s not an old man thing. I’ve been using these DashMats on all of my vehicles since I was 18. Love them because my Dash always looks clean. Thanks for sharing this video.
@@JesseRizo Hello! Great review & very informative! In your opinion between the suede or carpet like material, quick one would be best for maximum are reduction? I know that the darkest pitch black color is best for reducing glare/reflections but I was wondering if the material would even help a little bit more in reducing any glare.
I wish somebody just made a thin, non-slip form-fitting rubber dash cover so I can set something on the dash without it sliding around and also basically just make the dash soft touch and quiet the cab a little bit as well.
It’s cool to have a dash mat because you can put patches on it if every place you visit and when you change the Mat you can unstick it if it has Velcro
Found your video after searching for one regarding this very manufacturers mat. Thank you for making the video. 1 - it's not an old man thing as others have pointed out. It's intended to help keep your dash from cracking - like in my case - from 30 years of thermal expansion in an 80 series Land Cruiser. If you like a vehicle and intend to keep it, then you'll know what an abject PITA it is to replace the dash. The mat helps to extend the life of the dash. 2 - specific to this particular mat, their instructions are very clear about securing the mat to the dash. I can see reasons why one wouldn't want to use adhesive velcro, but in windy areas like mine, the cover will never stay in place in heavy crosswinds or at highway speeds with the windows down. 3 - the supplied velcro strips, just like the ones you have, stick great to the TOP of the mat but NOT to the bottom of the mat (its intended use). This is why I watched your video to see what you used instead. And as you don't use it, what good are you?! lol jk 4 - for dashes with curves and cups in its design, this mat is quite thick and I can guarantee you will not conform to the contours w/o some really good adhesive product. As such, I'm going to use another method to secure it but not sure what just yet. I'm looking at better/more velcro material, straight up spray glue (very permanent indeed), double-stick adhesive (equally permanent probably), or some other thing. Thanks again for posting. Good info and review.
Got mine for 45 for a Mazda six , A great reason for the dash pad it cuts down the glare,, On the glass itself and it looks great in suede black it's either that or Permanently flock your dashboard... Also whenever you put that sunvisor in the front window you have to be extra careful without one.. Otherwise you scratch the crap out of your dashboard from continuously putting Your sunvisor on and off the front window.. I've already replaced the dashboard piece it was scratched good thing they had it and it was fairly cheap now my dashboard is in perfect condition ,, so I just got the dash pad And I'm glad I did because it looks awesome no more glares.. I'm sure you can get her around 50 to 60 bucks which is damn cheap
i got this one just like this for my car in black ..in 2 yrs it looked grey and black it faded so it it still works and no holes or anything just like its a denim black and faded grey texture now ..
@@JesseRizo Ordered mine at my local dealer in alhambra on dec. 20th I had the option to pick a specific color which was really cool but I went with the black as well, picked it up today and im a complete fan. I was born in '92 so I guess I'm old at ❤ as well lol.

I use it for improved visibility as it reduces the dash's reflection off the windscreen by almost 100%. That is, if you get the black, of course.

Hey Jesse! Thank you for the awesome product review on our Dash Cover! Much appreciated!
Thanks for your awesome product :)
I’m looking to do this for my Ford, do you think yours is brushed suede or velour?
Liked and subbed for the intro alone 😂.
Your awesome hahah I appreciate that
Does it help with the nasty glare of dash elements reflected into the windshield?
Yes
Got mines at the Pomona car show/swap meet today😅
Heck yea lol
Thanks for the video and review, Jesse. I just put an order in for one myself.
What material did you get? They have carpet, velour, suede, or dashtex. I want the one you got tho.
What color is this if I may ask? I’ve a silver color Acura sport sedan. Would you pick a dark grey or black? Thx! 🎉
I’ll be honest I don’t know 100 percent I bought it from a dealer not online but it should be black I remember telling the guy I wanted black
I bought a cheap one on ebay and now the edges are faded, how does this fair overtime?.. any recommendations out there?
Mine is still holding up well link to it is in description box
Is that the velour or the suede cover?
I need to get mine soon!
Which one did u order u have 3 options like plush or something else and then what color do you have
Send me the link I’ll check it out :) at the dealer they only had one option so I’m not sure
That’s was super simple nothing too hard
LOL thanks
Not an old man thing at all. It protects your dash from cracking.
Thank you!!
Dashes don't really crack anymore. Really common in the 70s and 90s, few in early 2000s, but not so much in modern cars.
Wish I bought one before the cracks. At least it covers up the cracks now.
yooo super nice. thanks for the info
Does anybody know if these dash covers have the cut outs for the factory tweeters up on the dash on some cars??
Definitely better than coverking
Cover king is $78
Thanks bro for the info.
I went with a Carhatt dash cover.
How did u like it
@@JesseRizo Feels really heavy duty, not plus if that's what you're going for. But something that will last a long time.
@@JesseRizo do you have the visor tint across your windshield or is it something else? And also how do you like those RC seatcovers?
another great one bro
Thank you!!
Cool accessory.
can u put patches on it that's the only reason I want one lmao
lol to be honest I’ve never tried 😅
Exactly what I was looking for brotha!
Thanks for watching :)!!
