Lexi

Lexi talks about how life is different now that she’s in recovery. Her family wants her around. She’s a role model for her little sister. She has friends who care about her. And she’s an active part of her local recovery community. Lexi thinks about what life would be like if the stigma of OUD ended: “There wouldn’t be so much shame and embarrassment and guilt attached to asking for help.” For those currently struggling with addiction, she wants you to know that “It really does get better.”
