Awesome Matt, absolutely love fog machines with photography they elevate ideas so much further than anything photoshop can do with smoke effects etc. I got the LensGo Smoke B and honestly it's one the best purchases I've made since really getting into toy photography!
Great review Matt. I love this fogger and for the price you really can’t beat it. Like you it was my first smoke machine but after a few uses I go used to it.
Great video! As others have said it's basically a vaping device, and worth mentioning that the propylene glycol can cause allergic reactions for some people. It is possible to make your own PG free version tho. Thankfully does not bother me so I look forward to trying it out!
Smoke machines are so much fun. The one I picked up was $80 on a crowd fund, but this Ulanzi one has so many nice little quality of life features that make me jealous of it. the remote and time setting modes should be insanely useful. Where mine is more point and click (with all the similar adapters and accessories) Looking forward to more results!
Nice video Mat. I was struggling with the larger halloween fog machines, it was ok to use and I managed some decent results with it, but it broke during a toy shoot the other day, so my wife bought me a Lensgo fog machine for our anniversary. It's about the same size as your machine and seems pretty good so far. You can definitely be more direct with where you want the fog, or mist using the different connections. I love the heavy fog adapter too. It's great for my horror figures 😊😊
I love this machine! Thank you so much for showing it over the last week. I’ve got mine on pre-order. Should be here by end of month. What if I’m using my iPhone, it’s the only camera I have. Just wondering about the shutter, speed and catching that low smoke? Any thoughts on that? Great video, keep them coming. Love your content.👊🏽
Nice! That’s awesome that you’re getting one. I know the waiting was kind of a negative at first. Was kind of delayed at the beginning. Hope it comes in on time for you 🙌🏼 there are some other camera apps where you can control the shutter speed. I’ve been experimenting with the Lightroom app on iPhone and it has that feature. But overall, it should work. Using the foam attachment brings the smoke down and allows it to hang there for a while. I really appreciate the support!🙏🏼
@@amusingkingyes I have a camera app i can try. Thanks for that idea. If you don’t mind I would love to send you a couple pics via IG for some constructive criticism. I’m still very hee to this, only been taking pics for 10 months or so. Let me know if that’s cool thanks again
this is cool and taking toy photography is something I am just thinking of getting into. love the explanation and other videos of your series. I don't see a link for this Ulanzi fog machine. do you have one so you get credit if I order? thanks
If you're really wanting a fog machine, this one is good. If you're starting off photography from absolutely nothing, I wouldn't recommend this right away. I would rather invest in better lights.
So they basically took a vape and went with it. Does it have a coil that needs to be replaced? I actually think it’s a cool gadget and may get one for myself.
Not sure if you watched video but I got it for under $100. Even though I’m not familiar with a vaping setup, I’m guessing this is more versatile. I have seen people use vape for photography. There’s not much DIY needed if you have it.
@@amusingking I haven't yet, Ulanzi make affordable, pretty good stuff, but that kind of product is not easy to find in France. The equivalent is almost 150€ on Amazon. I don't vape, I'm really looking for a small compact machine like in the video. I've seen a small smoke machine with cheap coils for cosplay, but i really like the form factor and the power of the unit you have. It's time to fire up the 3D printer.

Awesome video; I just purchased one yesterday. I’m looking forward to testing it out.👌
Oh nice! Let me know what you think once you get it🙌🏼
I got mine last week, I'm still trying to find the best way to use it, but so far it definitely adds to the photos
Sweet! I'm still loving mine a ton

Wow nice! That one is cool. And yeah, I agree. The whole new element it adds is fun and definitely takes the creativity up a notch too.

Very informative Matt. Love the Wrecker pic and that dio is looking fantastic. Keep up the good work. 😎👍
Thank you so much! Really means a lot🙏🏼
Telesin C40 is a similar machine and they do sell the fog liquid for 6.99
Oh cool! Good to know. Thanks 👍🏼

That’s cool though! I feel like I would be happy with that. The remote is definitely a nice bonus that I wasn’t expecting. I appreciate the support 🙌🏼

Dude nice!!! Definitely a sweet anniversary gift haha. And yeah, I’ve heard good things about that one. Really cool 🙌🏼
Pretty wild. I love how so many people are collecting action figures. I have over 1k and counting.
Dang nice! That’s a ton of figures! I’m not sure how many I have. I need to get rid of a good amount 😂
@@amusingking lol it happens, I’m in box collector and I have had to create a separate room for everything lol
Try sponge attchme t around his feet, its great
Yeah definitely 🔥

maybe you could record for a few seconds in slow motion and then screenshot a frame of the video

That’s so awesome! Glad I’m able to help. For this fog machine, I don’t have any connection for credit.
@@amusingking so do you think worth an initial investment? Or is there something else you recommend
If you're really wanting a fog machine, this one is good. If you're starting off photography from absolutely nothing, I wouldn't recommend this right away. I would rather invest in better lights.
Got mine yesterday,$149 in Australia, looking forward to use it when I'm not crook.
Great video
Nice! That’s cool you got one
Every time I go on their website to order one they keep saying pre-order
Yeah, it’s only been out a couple of months. You need to pre order if you want one.
@@amusingking will do thanks
l think l got that same fog machine :)
Ayyy sweet 🙌🏼

yeah, and they sell it for more than 200, it's crazy.
Can't wait for someone to make a DIY version.
Pretty much! When I was researching, a lot of vape stuff was popping out haha. As far as coil, I’m not sure. I haven’t seen or heard about that yet.

Add some flavouring and you have vape juice
😂😂could definitely do that
