PSA that Amy’s can actually be really good! Never had the meal R & L tried but if you’re looking for a recommendation I really like their 3 cheese & kale pasta bowl and their pesto tortellini bowls.
I also wouldn’t really call it a diet food lol. They’re vegetarian but that’s about it. 😂 The nutrition facts are not kind.
I eat so much frozen food, I would have been able to get all of these right haha not sure that's an accomplishment

You wanna know what's scarier than square pizza? Hexagonal school-lunch pizza. It featured a 1-mm layer of cheese, an even thinner layer of sauce, and a base of the finest edible cardboard. Despite that, it was one of my favorite things in the menu, because somehow that miniscule layer of cheese always ended up deeply browned in just the right amount to taste awesome to my unsophisticated young palate.

I feel like Amy is their daughter. And started the company because of her daughter and specific diet/allergy. They couldn’t find food that Amy liked that was on her diet. So they started to make Amy’s food at home, then starting the company Amy’s Kitchen...to support other family’s with children on specific diets. But that’s just a feeling...

They also started Amy’s because of their beliefs. They follow a spiritual path that is lacto vegetarian meaning they don’t eat eggs at all. But milk is okay.

Back when I was in elementary school our pizza was made on the tops of hamburger buns. They’d put the sauce and toppings on the underside part of the bun and bake it. Pizza day only came once a week and believe it or not it was actually really good lol.

Rhett is a lot more competitive, smarter, and has more well rounded pallet. Link is super picky so he doesn’t know a lot of foods, and he makes unintuitive guesses.

I had the rectangle pizza until middle school then it was slices. The square pepperoni was the best. The slices was like any random cheap frozen pizza.

Lean cuisine steamer bowls are the best! Smart Ones is pretty good too. I like their pizza.

Yes I was hoping to see this! I love those steamers! Haven’t tried the smart ones lol. My favorite is the steamers fried rice! The edamame in it is like the perfect texture. I also like the lower carb chicken & broccoli option. The best frozen dinners I’ve ever had though are the Marie calendar ones, or however it’s spelled lol. Surprisingly those & the steamers taste nothing like a frozen meal.

Amy is the daughter of Rachel and Andy. I've been a vegetarian for 11 years, and I always have Amy's burritos and entrees in my freezer! So good!
She’s pretty good but way overpriced for what you get.
Most of these meals are so expensive for such little food! I buy the Heslthy Choice meals when they’re on sale. They picked a boring Healthy Choice meal to review though lol. I get a Healthy Choice and pick a bag of steam-able vegetables to go with it and then mix it all up and split it into two meals! It’s great. The bbq meat one with potatoes and corn (and whatever else lol) with a bag of just cheap steam-able corn is my fav but they have so many new ones out now and are preservative free and in biodegradable bowls are awesome.

I had no idea healthy choice had meals other than the rice and pasta ones. I think the pasta ones are sad but I like the rice based ones a lot. The one they chose is one of my favourites lol.

The lean cuisine pizza took me back to school where they banned crackers and square pizzas, flapjacks etc cos they were "too pointy" and were "a potential danger in food throwing situations"

I eat those Healthy Choice meals all the time. You picked one of the worst dishes imho. I think their Simply Cafe series is a lot better. It doesn't seem like a lot of food but you would be surprised how most people eat way too much in the U.S.
Steven Clark there all bad for you if your looking to eat healthy go for real food all day everyday eat a good number of carbs protein and healthy fats with a control of your caloric intake and get all the macros from real food and healthy food not trying to start a fight but your not eating healthy if your still eating them

Last year I lost 115 pounds. The convenience of frozen meals was a good start for losing weight but it is not a long term solution. It's a gateway meal to healthy food though...

Since packaging is a big part of these brands. And as someone that worked in a grocery store during school AND went thru most of the brands for at work meals this would have been fairly easy just because the packaging was shown.
