      do you need any good tutorials on how to actually work with the UV map in photoshop? I can't find anything. Like okay, I've got the outlines on a layer, how do I actually learn to make a good chair texture? Are there any specific techniques?

    • @bobi200samatar6
      @bobi200samatar6 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@Jimmy_The_Goat what you'll want to do is add another layer under the outlines and then you can either import a texture PNG, or draw the texture out yourself if you're feeling especially artsy.

      @@bobi200samatar6 So I have a UV map of a 3D watermelon and I would like to texture it. It looks something like a big circle for the main body and then two circular shapes for the top and the bottom. When I try to simply eyeball applying a PNG image on top of the UV map it doesn't look horrible but there are still seams all over the place. I have no idea how to fix that, and I can't find any good tutorials on a proper way to do this.

    • @bobi200samatar6
      @bobi200samatar6 9 месяцев назад

      @@Jimmy_The_Goat 1. If you're referring to the outline being visible on the model, then turn off that layer's visibility.
      2. If you're referring to the alignment of the texture, then unfortunately you just have to keep adjusting it until it looks correct.

    • @Jimmy_The_Goat
      @Jimmy_The_Goat 9 месяцев назад

      @@bobi200samatar6 I am referring to the second. Is there any way I could simply blend the seams directly on the model? Seem completely impossible to do it in photoshop.
