This is the first episode of the 4th Season rewrite of Winx and my very first fanfic video!
Also, I apologize again for the audio; it is my first time doing this, but I am still excited to share it with you all. Enjoy!

This episode was nice can’t wait to see more, also Musa talking about the Winx’s achievements over her mothers grave, Dumon almost assassinating Bloom in her sleep, and Flora keeping three of the Wizard’s of the Black Circle at bay I salute you.
@@Gyte2005 thank you so much! But for Duman part, he wasn't planning to assassinate her lol but to stun and immobilize her to take her to the wizards. Perhaps that's my mistake with the audio. Still a learning process. Haha
@@sailormermaidix24 I knew what you were doing during that scene it just felt like that scene to me was implied to be similar to an assassination attempt and you did great with building up suspense for the wizards considering they’ve been doing this to the earth fairy’s/magical entities of earth for centuries in cannon, just saying that having Dumon be the one to scope out each of the Winx and cause the explosion during the demo instead of a student being petty is a way better way to make the wizards intimidating instead of having them appear from the ether at the tail end of the episode. Also I totally get it this is your first time doing something big like this, though I can see just how much time and effort you’ve put into this.

@@sailormermaidix24 you don’t have to apologize I like that you gave an explanation for what Dumon was doing, it reminded me of when Darkar kidnapped Bloom during season 2, again hope to see what you’ve got in store for next episode because this was a great start.
There was one episode that I was disappointed in season 4 nebula.
Bloom should have told Roxy about her being possessed by Dark Bloom:
Here is how I believe it should have gone:
Stella: Bloom you need to talk to her about Dark Bloom.
Bloom: I don’t know. It is still hard to accept that you all forgave me when I was trying to end you.
Flora: That wasn’t you. It was easy because of that.
Bloom: No. Dark Bloom is still me, I can feel her.
Tecna: We can all agree that it was a very traumatizing experience for all of us.
Bloom: gee thanks
Tecna: I wasn’t being critical. I just wanted to point out that talking to others may help. Who knows revealing the truth to Roxy might help you too. Here. Tecna handed bloom a image holographic recorder
Bloom: Fine, I’ll do it but don’t blame me if she runs.
Living room:
Roxy: I don’t want to talk!
Bloom: With magic possession is quite common. That is a painful lesson I learn after they told me. That I was trying to end them.
Bloom tells Roxy about dark bloom
Now I’m imagining Roxy punching Ogron in the face and it’s everything.😂

Btw I have a question, are you keeping the “Just a dog!?” scene in the rewrite?Because personally, I really liked it and I was wondering if you’re going to keep it
Awesome stuff! Glad to see another person doing a Winx Rewrite and am happy to see another person who likes Season 4 improve on it. I'll be eagerly watching. :)
I’ve seen this discussion on the winx subreddit with Roxy previously and while I know you have your own ideas for how to approach her, I think the best thing they could’ve done with Roxy is not given her so many bits and pieces from the other girls.
Don’t give her pink hair like Tecna, make her a brunette with highlights since the other two brunettes are women of color and it won’t clash (or keep the pink hair but make her mixed race, I’ve seen people suggest First Nations)
Don’t give her green from Aisha, give her the original indigo from her promo art and previews so the winx almost actually have the original seven colors of the rainbow.
Don’t give her a similar backstory to Bloom, make it so she is legitimately the last naturally born earth fairy and both she and Klaus were time displaced by Morgana due her casting a spell on them in medieval times when the wizards came and why the wizards disappeared for centuries afterwards (tbf I think someone took that idea from Fate)
Don’t make her a princess, make Nebula the rightful queen from jump who turns evil due to the wizards with Morgana being her right hand or do the inverse where Nebula is Roxy’s mom (though that one is way harder to write around).
And lastly, one I really agree with is have her written as speedracing a bit through the transformations. She gets Magix or Winx (either works tbh) a couple episodes earlier, she gains Charmix in the original episode she gained her transformation, she gets enchantix either when they first save Tir Nan Og or when she saves Morgana with her getting believix in season 5 to catch up to the rest. This way we can still have certain moments that highlight the special qualities of certain forms like charmix, fairy dust and miniaturization with Enchantix, and in season 5 give a moment in each where Roxy shows off the sets of wings, lovix, sophix, and her therapeutic spell just so we get the full range before she is granted Harmonix with the others. We know they can do mixed forms because of season 3 with the enchantix forms being earned individually and season 6 with Daphne running around in Sirenix.
Roxy being written as having a ton of magic potential but not having the finer tuned details of her powers down works and justifies her pulling double duty as a winx and a student and she is very reminiscent of a character from another show I love (Charmed) who comes into her powers late but has to catch up to her sisters in magic due to them having three years of experience on her. Written correctly, all of these changes could really make Roxy stand out as a character with her own role and niche, plus makes a more fleshed character with a longer through-line arc.
Me personally, what you said about Roxy being a loner could tie into something I would’ve loved to see in season 6 which is that Selina isn’t an old friend of Bloom’s but an old friend of Roxy’s who she stopped interacting with shortly before season 4 and gained magic in the aftermath of it returning to earth before finding her way to Eldora and then Acheron. Like, all during season 5 when the girls are busy with Tritannus Selina is on earth first being taught by Eldora then corrupted by Acheron then popping up in season 6. Even having the same scene where she almost tricks Roxy, not Bloom, into poisoning flora would be fantastic.
Anyways, I can’t wait to see what you do with this rewrite. I loved Thomas and the work they’ve done thus far and I’m always down for more fan rewrites because… yeah the Winx Club could use some more tender love and care lol.

This is amazing I didn't get to watch it yet cause I've been busy but I've started it and this is amazing I hope u continue this with more seasons and other shows
i have an honest question about the winx club do you think red fountain/specialists are in the show too much cause i wonder if the club relies on them a little too much it was kind of nice that world of winx didn't have them around for once still hate that cliffhanger on that show and i kind of find the wizards of the black circle/fairy hunters not very intresting as people i think that with a lot of winx club villains what do you think
@@kelsey1467 personally, I don't think so nor mind the boys being in the show since they’ve been intentional since day 1. So long as they don't overshadow the girls. I only wish that like the girls, we get to explore them a bit to get to know them better and exploring their hobbies of interest which I plan to put in this rewrite.
As for the Wizards, they could've been interesting and intimidating like S3 Valtor but like the rest of the season, they felt flat. I hope to make them a bit interesting for this rewrite down the line.
@@sailormermaidix24 i guess i the boys being there but in the season we got i wonder if there was too much drama between the couples especially riven and musa and also while i liked them going to earth i didn't lke that the teacher plot was dropped after the 2nd episode i don't like when plot points are dropped even if its for the right rasons
@@kelsey1467 oh don't worry that drama between the winx and specialists I'm making adjustments and removing parts that were really stupid and I actually plan for Riven to actually grow and be a better man for both himself and Musa and further explore his journey as to why he's the way he was from Season 1 onward. All will be revealed in the upcoming future episodes.

Don't know if it could be helpful (I am sure you already know how to deal with Roxy's power system) or this is just a comment to share fan interpretation.
I made my own explanation why Roxy's fairy form is very similar to Believix and not a basic form: magic on Earth is not enough for Roxy to transform, she is capable of some magic of her own, but not to transform into her full potential and protect herself against more dangerous enemies.
So, for protecting Roxy, the winx share some of their magic with her, making Roxy able to transform in a form very similar to their Believix form, that is why the similarities with the whole group costumes.
To make an example with another maho shojo anime, Hana in Ojamajo Doremi can make magic because the rest of the group gave her some of their own.
Only after the Earth fairies are free Roxy will be able to reach on her own her basic form, that is why she was left at Gardenia while the Winx fight the major fairies.
PS I think that in this way Rainbow could have explained smoothly Roxy's Believix in the merchandise and maybe adding to sell the magical object that could gave her the ability to channel Winx's magic to transform. More merchandise possibilities!! Don't know why they didn't came up with a similar idea...
@@almaclara5454 Not gonna lie, this perspective is interesting and had Rainbow went this route it would make much more sense. Even though I already do have Roxy's transformations set up for this rewrite, I really do like your interpretation of her fairy form. Maybe you can make a rewrite with this idea. I would love to read or watch it.
@sailormermaidix24 I would love to write down a rewrite too for winx club and season 4, but my life is taking away from me too much time (not counting another writing project I am doing) so I can't do all. Who knows? One day... meanwhile I am here for your rewrite.
This season had so much wasted potential, and Roxy could have been flashed out so much better (I am from Italy, here many youtubers love to hate on Roxy, glad the world community is much more open to her. But no matter how mean they are, I can't blame them for not being convinced with her character as seventh winx for how season 4 treated her) I am sure you will gave her justice
@@almaclara5454 oh I can definitely relate to that. I have two jobs so trying to have free time here in the US is almost impossible to do the things you want to do. I'm shocked that Roxy is hated in Italy as well. But that's half the Fandom unfortunately.

I really love this episode. By the way, I hope you keep Musa and riven together I know later seasons, kind of ruined their relationship but I really liked it from seasons one through four.

I’d like to point with the confusion regarding Roxy’s transformation, in the comics, Bloom stated that Roxy has Believix powers and therefore is a Believix fairy.. so in canon, Bloom said Roxy both is and isn’t a Believix fairy lol

If you’re gonna rewrite S5. I’m guessing you’re gonna combine Harmonix and Sirenix based on the redesigns you made of Sirenix?

can i ask in intresting writing question people say bloom turned into a mary sue really but is that really that bad cause to me i would rather have a character thats always right all the time over the opposite cause theres this main character from a cartoon that im not going to say that screws up constantly and i kind of roll my eyes a lot i just wonder if a mary sue the lesser of two evils
@@kelsey1467 I don't believe Bloom is a Mary Sue, she's just poorly written from Season 4 and especially in seasons 5-8. One of the issues what many and myself have, is that they 180'd her character and lost her sweet but fiery like personality. As well as making her this ideal mature role model which personally, I didn't like. Another is that after her story is done, the writers continuously keep putting her in the spotlight and making her this savior because she's the wielder of the Dragon Flame and not giving the other girls focus or time to shine especially when it's seasons related to their powers i.e. Season 5 with Aisha and Season 8 with Stella. Or moments they forced Bloom to be in such as the whole conflict with Diana and Nature, that should've been Flora trying to connect to Diana while understanding per pain and frustration as a fellow Fairy of Nature and making her being a lead singer in a band when it should've been Musa whose both a Singer and Muscian.
It made sense for seasons 1-3 and Secret of the Lost Kingdom but after that, the writers should've put her aside and the other winx shine, especially for Musa and Tecna who get neglected the most.
Finally I don't like characters that's always right because no one is always right all the time in real life. When you create characters, you have to make them feel like their real, even with flaws and weaknesses because it's something we has humans have. Without those limitations, we wouldn't have stories/lessons of growth and progression to become better versions of ourselves. So you want to have a character that can inspire you to become a better version of you but you also want them to relate to you and show that your flaws and weaknesses aren't inherently a bad thing and your not alone in the world. Not to mention why we as people have to depend on one another for assistance and growth. Whether we like it or not.
I always want to have my characters to be confident but also have Humility and grace to admit their limitations but still strive to be great.

@@juris_kaulins28 yes in the intro section, I said she will go through Magic winx, Charmix and Enchantix in a fast but steady pace before she gets Believix. She will get the first 3 forms at time. It's one of the reasons this season will go beyond 26 episodes
@@sailormermaidix24u should follow unicorn of wars method on her being an earth fairy as it makes her different from the winx but I like your suggestions on Roxy’s character she’ll definitely stand out more and being her own character not a combination of each of the winx. So far I like your rewrite I’ve watched unicorn of wars winx content an it’s good, good luck on the rewrite 😊

95 episodes is too much. 26 episodes is fine
