Putting my outfit together for work the night before and packing my purse are key to getting out the door on time. Nothing pisses me off more is grabbing my purse and it doesn't match what I have on, or grabbing the wrong purse and I don't have my wallet or makeup bag in it. I have been doing this for years and years, and it helps me to always be on time.
Tips to Look Put together and Polished always: 1. Invest in a Capsule Wardrobe ( it helps to be wearable all the time ) 2. Invest and Wear Clothes that are well-fitted 3. Curate & Master a No- Makeup or Minimal Makeup Look and wear it always that makes you feel and look Put together 4. Decide your Clothes beforehand/ lay your Clothes the night before to be prepared for the Next Day 5. Invest in Jewelry ( it helps you look put together always) 6. Always Wear Perfume and try to smell nice !!
Great reminders! A few years ago I got really burnt out always trying to put outfits together, so I invested in a capsule wardrobe. Now,any new item of clothing I buy has to match with at least two or three items that I already own or I won’t buy it. It makes getting ready in the morning so much easier! My go-to shop when buying basics is Uniqlo, great quality and the prices are fair imo! I also never leave the house without earrings or perfume! ❤Thanks for the video!❤
I like this. Great tips. Girl! I got so bad at laying clothes out for the next day. My go to is the thin, inexpensive rolling wardrobe, so I can put a week's worth of clothes out for different occasions. Bam!
Be careful sis! I just saw a video on deeperthanhair and her client had bad breakage from always wearing a bun/ponytail. I do the same🤦🏽♀️ what I recently started doing is wearing satin flexi rods at home and only wearing a bun when I go to work and even then I try to not put my hair up until mid day at work.
Thank you Nicole! Good tips. You're right about laying clothes out the night before . I have to iron my shirts. I have to shower in the morning , it wakes me up even more! Skin tints are so good! Fragrance of the day is a must!
Amazing tips as always, i already do these most of these and will try the ones that I'm not doing already. thank you like always for your wonderful tips.
I stopped doing full face , it was slowing me down and also I started to feel weird when I wasn’t wearing make up! Having staple clothing and minimal make up are good tips!!
Great tips👍🏾: I would had that if it take too much time to choose clothes it could mean that you need more (that my case). Also the hair : everybody need an hairstyle that take 5' in the morning. Preparing clothes for tomorrow 📆 can reduce stress. Thats a good habit 👌🏾
I’m a flight attendant now BUT when I was a “corporate girl” I laid my clothes out for the entire week! Seems excessive but worth it. I did it every Sunday night. And I had a “uniform” of sorts; button down shirt and pants from express or a shift dress from banana republic with either a black pump or skin tone (light brown) pump.
Sis I'm plus size and I feel so ugly. I'm tryin to loose weight but it's been rough . I just feel like never dressing up or nothing cause I always feel ugly. 😢
I know how you feel… 5’5 went from 145 to almost 200 in a matter of only 3 years… i’m down to 185 as of today. I didn’t qualify for the weight loss injections because (thankfully) I’m not diabetic or pre diabetic. So I took the munjaro compounded injections for 8 weeks and now I’m on phentermine capsules 37.5 for 3 weeks. Go to your doctor for weight loss solutions as a “jump start” AND see a psychiatrist, they gave me citalopram 10mg. This helps with depressed moods and is an appetite suppressant. In the meantime, do your hair and nails, wear your favorite perfume and try to find a few flattering outfits until you get back to your normal weight! We got this!! I’m rooting for you!!🥰🥰🥰
@@SheIsFearfullyWonderfullyMadethese are almost my exact measurements! Omg 😮 I lost a little weight just doing minor changes! I recommend folks it and see if it can help- 1. Reduce eating out 2. Try to eat within 8hr window (most days) 3. Drink 2-3L water daily 4. Don’t eat after 8pm (most days) and get a full night sleep! 5. Try to take a 10- 15 min walk twice a day. Small changes that I was surprised helped, bc I kept trying to do something grand like OMAD or go vegan or keto, or join the gym and drink a gal water daily etc. now I just do what I can, most of the time.
Girl I feel this so much. It’s a season, ok. Focus on feeling well and getting healthy with small adjustments. If you’re a person of faith pray for help with mindset. Look for beautiful plus size examples, influencers who are well put together, and focus on your assets. For example when I’m 50lbs heavier nothing really fits, my belly is big, my face and arms look fat, but! I still have defined calves (from genetics? years of working out? Idk) and pretty feet so my work “uniform” is a nice midi dress that hits below the knee or mid calf and shows off my legs and feet. I keep my nails and toes done. I wear faux leather sandals/slides with no or low heel. I don’t wear makeup but always keep a simple gloss and mascara on. And my daily jewelry is a simple necklace, small earrings, and a thin bracelet or anklet. Even if you don’t feel pretty you can present yourself that way. It will help and you may get compliments that bring you out of that. Sending you love 🫶🏾
lol I watched this video after I watched your GRWM video after this, and you were late picking up your balloons for your bridesmaids 😂😂 cuz you were putting on a whole face of makeup lol! Not bashing you or anything, I just thought it was so funny how we can try and try to be on time but sometimes we just can’t do it! 😂
girl not you calling me out on hitting the snooze button lol! i always take 1,5h hours, including my son en then im not even fully ready yet or eaten anything (i eat for like 20 mins) also you said your shirt is comfortable but you keep rearanging it... you look more put together if youre not having to rearange your clothing every 5 seconds, (like the same with certain tops or dresses dat go down or up)
You talk about how much you like the shirt you're wearing in the video, but I saw you adjusting it so many times that I wonder if it really is that good if it doesn't sit well
Laying your clothes out the night before is definitely old school ❤❤❤ it makes the day run smoothly
But it works thooo

A slick bun has been my go to lately lol 😩

I think learning a quick but professional and stylish hairstyle is important too.

Thank You so much ❤❤❤
What is a skin tint? Is that the same as a tinted moisturizer?
Yes
I LOVE supergoop glow spf. Gives really good coverage with spf. In the summer I just use that, no foundation needed.
You're right, I love you. ❤I look forward to you're videos
Organize your closet and makeup bag ladies! That way you can quickly grab what you need. No need to dig.

To take it a step further...iron/put together 5 outfits for the week.
