- Chris tells Freddie and Denise that the woman he has been dating dropped him when she learned how many women he had been with, and Freddie becomes alarmed that now Denise will want to know how many Freddie has been with too, so Chris recommends that Freddie lie about his real number to Denise. Meanwhile, Freddie may have a bigger problem on his hands when Denise reveals that her boss wants her to relocate to Hawaii for work, and a discussion with Freddie about his life experiences makes her rethink how much she has lived herself. Will she leave Freddie for a new job in Hawaii, or will she stay with the man she loves?

I like to imagine that Denise came back. Her and Freddy found happiness together, and everyone lived happily ever after in that apartment.
from the 17-20, that was done beautifully. I understand the comedy in between to help lessen the sadness, but it always touches me I watch it. So deep that I tear up. Seriously I love how genuine that feels
Denise comes back a few years later and they live happily ever after, that’s the only ending that I can accept because she really was his soulmate.

In my opinion, she doesn't need experience if you already met the love of your life. She lowkey looked at the number & realized that she still needs to experiment with different people. Freddie deserved better. This is a case of the perfect person, bad timing.
I don’t know, I can understand her perspective. From what I’ve inferred, he’s been around the block a lot and so his number would intimidate me, I can only imagine how shit scared she must have been. No wonder she wanted to meet him halfway. 😂

The point of life experiences is to meet the love of your life but if u already met that person you don’t need those experiences

Life experience is a must. So many people ‘think’ they’ve met the love of their life but they haven’t and that’s real life. You’re describing a fairytale which is based on devaluations, NOT reality.
Denise was cute and all but I think Freddie had more of a connection with Rose, I think the writers should have pursued that relationship instead, besides there was chemistry there and he actually saw a future with her. After this show ended Denise left, Rose came back and got back together with him that's my theory on the ending
i was thinking the same thing. a chief and baker have much more in common. freddie called rose his soul mate and that he sees a future and thats not something we say all the time.
denise is sweet but she a virgin saving herself and it would of been more romantic for her to find a virgin doing the same and loose it together. rather than be with someone who has been with many women. especially if she was going to be bothered by it.
