Another thing about him 'not wanting' to get out of the truck - he's wearing an ankle monitor, meaning he's out on bail and so don't have the same rights when you agree to such - Like ANY LEO or probation/parole officer asks you to do anything, you do it or immediately go back to jail, no?
Depends on the situation, really. I was on parole and what you said would be true. If it's a lawful order, you do it. Otherwise they tell you 'rub your stomach and pat your head, then spin around on one foot', then no. Once you're on probation you get deemed 'less offensive' by the Peace Office, so they deal with you less, speak less to you, etc. Most of us lose our fourth amendment for illegal search and seizure, but they still extend the courtesy of asking you if they can perform a search. Altogether it's all about just shutting the hell up and doing what you're supposed to do after you fuck up royally and get put on probation/parole.
Parol yes. Probation no. You still have the same rights as any other person while on probation. A parolee can be searched at any time without a warrant, a probationer cannot
@@Great_Lakes_Discus In Georgia they remove your 4th Amendment from you whenever you get sentenced to a Felony. I wish it were the case that I could refuse a search, but that isn't that case sadly.

I didn’t think about that but I rly think his arm was stunted or something from getting hit in the chest & femur. If u get hit in some spots of the body, other parts shut down. He would’ve shot with both hands if he could. Faster shots & more accurate.

My buddy took an RPG round directly to the rear groin, the round didn't go off luckily, but by the end of the surgery's and shit he lost both of his legs and has to have a machine to piss. @@Listrynne it still looked involuntary but i see what he was doing and like i said it might've been what made the difference there whether he meant to block his eyes from the sun or not
That arm up out of the way wasn't due to the round hitting him in the chest, that was due to obvious and excessive great one hand training drills. This officer put the time in and did the work and it showed here. Getting the off-hand out of the way of a moving and running gun. The mind control and muscle memory this officer had after taking a severe wound is off the chart excellence. I was taught in SWAT school to,shoot someone in the pelvic girdle after a police woman was ambushed in Louisiana by a guy on PCP. Her .38 Special hollow points failed to open when she shot the guy, but also the guy was so high it didn't register to his body that he was dead. So he took her pistol away and then took turns letting her shoot him as he shot her. Then she finally shot him in the pelvis. That stopped him. We were taught then that if you can't drop someone in the chest, put 3 shots to the pelvis. And even as a sheriff's explorer we were taught this.
Yeah, that's what I was taught, in addition to all the structural/motive components there's all sorts of nice juicy stuff down there just waiting to spring a leak. A 9mm bouncing around inside your pelvis is a bad time in anyone's book.

I knew the shooter. He was a friend of my sister. We all lived in the same apartment complex. Jimmy had a horrible upbringing. Father was not there ever, and his sister/grandma died in a car crash. His mom was all he has and she resorted to drugs and alcohol. He himself went to alcohol at a young age and I'm sure he dabbled in drugs but I'd be too young to know. He would steal beers from people at the pool at our apartment complex Pirates Landing in Seabrook TX. He was a known trouble maker in the complex and his mother was too strung out or drunk to deal with him. He raised himself in the worst way possible. For the last 8 or so years I haven't heard much from or about him. I do know his last ex girlfriend stabbed him multiple times and was certifiably insane. At heart he was actually a kind person. It's sad to see his life end up how it is. But I can't say I'm surprised he did what he did.
I figured it would be something like that. What he did was inexcusable and he got what he had coming to him but it still sucks that suffering is all he knows and drugs are the only thing he thinks can stop that. I've alot of people I love that are in dark places surrounding drugs and awful upbringings so I'm aware these things aren't always as black and white as they may seem.
Hey Donut, the left arm of the officer on the ground may have been affected by the shot to the chest, but if you look closely at your video at around 5:50, you can clearly see that he's using his left hand to shield the sun from his eyes while he mag-dumps the suspect (my theory). As one former cop to another, I love your channel and commentary.
Once I was at the range as the sun started setting and I didn't have my sunglasses just my eye pro from work so I spent 30 minutes training to shoot one handed while blocking the sun with my other hand, I shot better like that than I had all day 😂
I love how if a suspect shoots at a cop once that gives 2 separate cops the right to mag dump the suspect but if an everyday citizen mag dumped a suspect in an act of self defense it’s considered “excessive lethal force”

We had an old school local Sheriff years ago answered that under oath in court! "Why did you shoot the robber 15 times?" "Because that's all the ammunition I had" Also he was using a 5 shot .38 snubnose. He reloaded twice! Lmao

@@aauwhatitdo1582 I got nothing but admiration for the officer, and also nothing but respect for you absolute warriors out there fighting the GWOT. When that fight or flight kicks in, y'all choose to fight.
@@user-hg1zq5jp8k Ah, ok, I understand better now - appreciate that.
Parol yes. Probation no. You still have the same rights as any other person while on probation. A parolee can be searched at any time without a warrant, a probationer cannot

Me: holding my breath worried about the groin shot.
"Femur! Femur!"

Yeah, if that was a groin shot it would've been a different story. My buddy took an RPG round directly to the rear groin, the round didn't go off luckily, but by the end of the surgery's and shit he lost both of his legs and has to have a machine to piss. It is like chest shots; 1 inch can be the difference between life and death.
Femur shot is dangerous that's where the femoral artery is. Hit that and it's a wrap.
@@masterpaine9161 you can tourniquet a thigh wound. You can’t tourniquet a groin wound.
Yes having a femoral injury can be fatal, but junctional (groin, armpits, shoulders) wounds are far more difficult to control bleeding on due to their location
I'm just glad it didn't hit the artery.
6:21 his arm was working fine and you can tell from his body cam he was blocking out the sun to see more clearly whether he intended to or not. That man is a true blood survivor

That arm up out of the way wasn't due to the round hitting him in the chest, that was due to obvious and excessive great one hand training drills.

Hey Donut, the left arm of the officer on the ground may have been affected by the shot to the chest, but if you look closely at your video at around 5:50, you can clearly see that he's using his left hand to shield the sun from his eyes while he mag-dumps the suspect (my theory).
