i've been playing this album for the past couple weeks and it's gotten better with each spin. in the ten or eleven years of loc's hiatus, i've also taken that time to grow into an adult and put listening to much new music aside. now settled a bit this record comes at a time that i can get excited about it and sort of pick up where i left off with this band without having missed anything in between.
Not sure why everyone is so disappointed. This sounds like a good album to me. Sure, it's not like their others, but it's still good. It has a lot of kick to it, and I feel as if the band was listening to a lot of hardcore punk and metal when they wrote this. You can just hear it, and a big fun of hardcore punk, I have to say that I love this, especially the first track.
People will always say theyre disappointed when bands release new albums.. they want to sound hip and cool, when theyre really just a washed up jackass with no clue how music works.
Rick Henry Yeah I have no idea. I've only been a Leftover Crack fan since they were were known as Choking Victim. I'm sure I know shit and can't say this album is boring.

A big part of the reason why thatcrackrocksteadybeat was so good is because it was music that got me into music. There is no way to compare that feeling to anything else. Simple. Thatcrackrocksteadybeat for me was about music, about thought and actions. IMO you can still hear the same beat here. And message. Both made thatcrackrocksteadybeat what it is. Nothing wrong with taking something and running with it. Every step brings something new. So glad there is more of thatcrackrocksteadybeat. Just they way I see it.

I just got this album on vinyl yesterday and I love it! I also have F W T on vinyl. Don't get the haters, their first two albums are hard to follow. I'd score M-G 9 , FWT 9.5 , and CotS 8.5. I love them all
I like this album better than SFH I tried to listen to. For the same reason I liked War Profiteering is Killing Us All by Suicide Machines and people shit all over it: it changes things up a bit. More metal influence, bands been around forever. They're bound to change. Least it's not as shitty as Refused's new album. Now THAT was not worth the wait.
I really like this album, it's not like the others, and it shows a growth within the music. I love the others a lot and nothing is gonna change that, but seeing a band do something lil different is amazing and the first two albums where totally different from each other as well as CV.... There's a progression and it's great to hear artists not be afraid to not do what the fans want.

a little disjointed and inconsistent, but also some really good moments. could have been better, but also could have been way worse. i think maybe if they tried to work more on finding their sound post-ezra, as opposed to leaning on a lot of guest artists, the end result would have been more cohesive.
i must admit it didnt have me awestruck the first time i listened . not like mediocre gen or fwt . its a different style alot more rock sounding i guess . if it wasnt LOC i would probably dig it alot more ya know ? i just got spoiled on choking V and earlier LoC :D good album altogether tho !
Vicious Constructs hits me every time. I've been organising in my local community for abolition for over 5 years now and did a presentation on prison abolition to a university socialist org and I was so tempted to use the chorus from the song but I didnt find somewhere for it to fit.
listened to the first track, does sound a bit more like the Causalties, which I don't like as much. but will have to come back and hear the rest. I am always for an artist doing their own thing and moving in their own direction despite "what people want" so whatever.
Anything and everything I love about my favorite genres all rolled into a badass punk af package. Almost too good to be true, like it doesn't really exist. Kinda like leftover crack lol
whats the old loc song that they say that " pick it up , pick it up , pick it up ! " in ? they do it in the corrupt vision song on this album but they do it in another song and now its bothering me that i cant remember how the other song goes haha
some bands you can really tell when they get their shit together and stop doing hard drugs. Sounds much healthier, happy they're in a better place, but it definitely impacts the music in a way that some people arent looking for, lol especially people who got into 'leftover crack'
How the fuck did this pass me up til now ! Ive been waiting for there next album for years. Hope its better than SFH stuff (which isnt bad) but i like more of the choking victim and early LOC sound.

This is probably my 20th time going thru this record. Its fucking great.
definitely a lot less bad than i expected a 2015 loc release to be. sturg still killin it
Jesse Michaels still sounds pretty good
bedbugs & beyond is so wicked
It's almost the only one lol
it's so fun listening to a new album from an old favorite band. i'll always be a fan of leftover crack!

Honestly, my favorite leftover crack album. Hate me if you want, but i fucking love it!!
This is the best punk album of the last 10 years DON'T YOU KNOW THERE AIN'T NO SUCH THING AS LEFTOVER CRACK!
2:19 - really never thought I'd hear Leftover Crack incorporating the "Millennial Whoop" into their music. A part of me died.
There songs have always been catchy.

Sería un disco tremendo si no se tratará de Leftöver Crack. Siendo ellos se espera siempre más. Se alejaron de su antiguo sonido...

This is fucking magical LOCs first release In like a decade. Seeing them play with days n daze, Night Gaunts This year was fucking awesome.
Leftover Crack is up there with Aus-Rotten and Flux in making the best, most relevant songs. Saw them with the Casualties years back.
I always listen to Last Legs twice, reminds me of The Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra (like maybe try God Bless our Dead Marines).
I like this album better than SFH I tried to listen to. For the same reason I liked War Profiteering is Killing Us All by Suicide Machines and people shit all over it: it changes things up a bit.
