Andy Wood the most amazing guitarist I've never heard of hahaha until a couple years ago. I'm 56 been playing since I was 7. In 1983 yngwie malmsteen changed my life forever but I got in too deep and couldn't find a way out until Stevie Ray Vaughan entered my life. Took some time to break the neoclassical scale intensive shreddery but I retained what I learned and moved onto the expressive feeling of the Pentatonix.
35 years later, strolling through RUclips I come across this Andy wood guy😮 so I just want to say thanks!!! They say the third time's the charm and I never thought I'd see the day were chicken-picking and hot country licks were number one on my fretboard..
You're the best teacher I've never met Andy!!!! and I thank you from my heart...

I was just introduced to you today through a Tim Pierce video. Thank you for caring enough to become a master who can give so much to other people. I look forward to more of your videos.

Man, I had to cut out of the livestream early, but I’m so glad I came back to watch the rest.
Wow! 53:03 The beginner won’t tackle Eruption because they don’t think they’re allowed to. 🤯 I’ve had a couple of experiences that fit that description.. 🤦‍♂️

From someone who’s lived it. You can spend a bunch of cash on a bunch of not so great guitars, to try and find the special one, or you can save up and spend about the same on THE special one 😊

I meant 400Hz boost yesterday. Been having fun using the Fractal parametric on a larger PRS hollow body with the Lonestar model. Using the hi pass at 130Hz seems to work well a lot of the time. Occasionally using a more aggressive cut at 220hz for the lead channel. Lots of fun! Thanks Andy.

How about that , Im a musician that does a one man show. And I found you during the During the virus shutdown in 2020. I thought you were amazing but you are way over my head as in I didn’t understand what you were talking about half the time. Im all self taught and I found out during the shutdown that I didn’t know crap about the guitar. I Learn bits and pieces now and then mostly by learning songs. and I play live on a regular basis. I will be watching your channel more to see what you are doing if you dumb it down a little more for us Guitarist / Singers out here doing the thing as well as we can.
