I literally can't describe how usefull was this tutorial, everything is described inch by inch and i would never say that one youtube video will make me understand mql5 soooo much better. Some people would charge over 1000$ for such a course and probably not as good as this one, but you gave it to us FOR FREE!!!!! That is just incredible Rene. Thank you for the video, it was very helpful. I initially had a background in mt4 and the mt5 course was a very fruitful add-on. I ended up making an 80%+ win rate indicator with all the trailing stops and TP. If the indicator continues with this win rate for the next 3 months, I'll will post for grabs. That will be on April, Easter.

As a total newbie to coding, I spent 2 days getting through this tutorial. The concepts were a little intimidating at first but I started getting comfortable a little more than halfway through. Thanks for the video man! I started programming in C# 10 years ago. When I got into trading I got into PineScript, but after being exposed to MQL5, its like a breath of fresh air. Object Oriented programming is just so much cleaner.

Just an addition, it sounds a good practice to use iTime function to detect a new bar, as there might be server issues fails to update some bars at a point then add other bars randomly. mysels using void OnTick(){ static datetime freshBar = 0; if(freshBar == iTime(NULL, 0,0)) return; freshBar= iTime(NULL,0,0);}

I am glad you like it. I do not really think it makes sense to code from top to bottom like this. When you write more complex programs it is easier to work task oriented.
