If hamsters really can carry a quarter of their bodyweight in their cheeks, she must look pretty comical with them fully packed. She could about stuff a sibling in them!

So cute. I had a hamster who suddenly gained weight one time and when I took her to the vet I was told she had a hormonal disorder. She weighed 300 grams. She was otherwise healthy and happy but I had to stop giving her yogurt treats. She was a bit upset about that but got plenty of fresh veggies, which she loved.
Oooohhhh...she's so pretty! She reminds me of my favorite hamster as a child...she was a sable too. Her name was Lambchop because of how our dog would sit near her cage with the same look he had watching my dad eat lambchops...Lol! I used cedar shaving in her cage so she always smelled so sweet but I had to trim her butt here and there because the hair would get super long and attract the shavings. Lol!
Hamsters aren’t smart enough for that, and they’re solitary creatures. Bunnies and Guinea pigs however, are social and intelligent animals. They definitely get attached to their owners.

Both raw and cooked veggies should be fine. I normally feed high quality hamster mix (e.g. Mr Johnsons), 10% of the hamster's weight once a day.
