🎉 What is Nardugan?
Nardugan, celebrated by ancient Turkic nations, is a festival marking the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, and the triumph of the Sun over darkness 🌞. The word “Nardugan” literally means “birth of the sun” in Turkic languages, symbolizing renewal, hope, and the rebirth of light. As the shortest day of the year passes, people celebrate the Sun’s return with joy and optimism. This ancient festival, dating back over 5,000 years, has been passed down through generations and is still celebrated in modern times. 🌟
On Nardugan, families gather, trees are decorated with colorful ornaments, and special meals are prepared to welcome the Sun’s return. The tradition of decorating trees, which is now common at Christmas, actually has its roots in Nardugan celebrations. In many cultures, it's a time to honor nature, family, and the cycle of life. 🌲
🌍 This tradition is celebrated by various Turkic nations, including Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and more. In Azerbaijan, for example, the Nardugan festival is a time for family reunions and festive gatherings, where the ancient rituals of honoring the Earth and the Sun are still practiced. These nations may celebrate in slightly different ways, but the spirit of Nardugan remains the same - a festival of light, renewal, and hope. 💫

💧 Rinsing in clear water, finishing with aloe vera-scented fabric softener
🌿 Scent profile: Imagine the crisp, invigorating scent of a pine forest after rain, sweetened with delicate Lily of the Valley blooms. It’s a refreshing, earthy blend that transports you to nature, calming your senses and lifting your spirits!

Have u ever tried squeezing with sugarscrub and powder? I’ve seen someone do it, but know I can’t find the video 😭 but I remember it was super creamy, like it made my mouth water
