Hi, Jade. My daughter and I have watched all of your Zelda playthroughs so far. We're wrapping up Twilight now. We're looking forward to watching your Link to the Past playthrough. Are you planning on playing it?
Sigi is another one of the many interesting characters in Witcher. This franchise is so incredibly good at creating characters who feel like real people with personalities and not just stock character archetypes tweaked a little to suit a story.
I'm Team Neither, but of course I can't explain that without spoilers, so this will have to wait for quite a while. 🙂 Sometimes you can't meditate because it doesn't make sense story wise, like after your fist fight with eternal fire thugs. But you still get the benefits from meditating instantly, this is what happend here. Speaking of fists fights: If they have the guard up you can't do any damage. I recommend to stop hitting in then, because it makes you a target for a parry. Just step back a bit and let them attack, so you can parry yourself. 😉 If you rearrange your skills, you can get the full bonus from the greater blue mutagen!
Awww, the most romantic scene in the game (most romantic in the series is in W2, also Geralt & Triss). > 4:00 "All mages know each other" [Book lore]. Dwarves and elves are naturally long-lived (~400-600 years), Witchers' mutations keep them healthy until a monster gets them (~200-300, but no witcher has ever died in bed), and mages use magic to keep themselves youthful. Generally male magic-users adopt a dignified middle-aged look ('Time of Contempt', IIRC) but sorceresses make themselves young and beautiful in part to advertise their power. The whole 'lilac and gooseberries' thing is also marketing, as different sorceresses each have their own 'brand' scent. Anyway; Zoltan is about 300, Vesimir ~200, Geralt & Yenn ~100, Triss ~50 (and Keira, although she may be a little older), and Ciri ~22 (although she travels in time, so it may be impossible to say). Dandelion, according to Djikstra ('Blood of Elves') "is nearly 40, looks nearly 30, thinks he's just over 20, and acts about 10". > Kissing Triss doens't commit you to anything but [books] canonically Geralt turns her down [games] she is the known companion (Geralt hasn't even seen Yenn for over 2 years apart from the White Orchard/Vizima scenes). >> [29:00 Could just be me, but game music almost drowning-out the speech]. > 47:32 Everyone knows about Geralt & Yennefer, it's the most infamously toxic relationship in their world (mostly thanks to Dandelion telling stories and singing about it). Nearly everyone in W3 who knows them comments on how badly she treats him, starting with Vesimir when Geralt wakes from his training nightmare. During their 20+ year relationship they've spent more time apart than together, repeatedly cheated on each other (on the same day in Yenn's case), she has categorically said she doesn't, cannot, love him ('Shard of Ice'), and everything between them is subject to a djinn's magic which binds their fates, and therefore suspect. Neither Yenn nor Triss is the 'wrong' choice, but neither is either the 'right' one. Like everything in W3, it's complicated. > 49:12 "I don't kill kings" [Game lore] W2 is titled 'Assassin of Kings' because [obvious spoiler] kings get assassinated. Geralt is suspected and the plot is, broadly, his search to clear his name by finding the real culprit. > 57:50 'Berengar' was a witcher who died in the first game. > 1:04:55 "The Urcheon of Erlenwald" [Book lore] this is the story of the contract Geralt took ('A Question of Price') through which he and Ciri came to be bound by destiny and 'Something More'. (Pavetta was Ciri's mother). > 1:28:47 Did you expect 'mutant monster-hunter' Geralt to be appearing in a play when you started W3? > 1:37:17 The scene where Dudu becomes Ciri is a masterpiece of writing, acting, and animation. So much shown about the friendship between Zoltan and Geralt, and so much emotion in Geralt's love and fears for his adopted daughter, all with so few words. > 1:40:43 'Chappelle' [Book lore]: was the head of secret services (torture) for the 'Eternal Flame' (short story). He died of a heart-attack and was impersonated by a doppler until recently - he was being burnt on the stake when you arrived in Novigrad.
Jade im begging you as a long time watcher for everything good in this world pleaseeee can we get an arcane reaction, i know its not the usual but u gotta make an exception for this if you see what other reaction channels are doing you can censor it, have it still watchable and not get strikes w some clever editing its such a beautiful show im sure youd love it, even if you dont wanna make a video on it id reccomend regardless
59:35 I've never actually seen a negotiation completely fail before. Interesting :) 1:35:05 If you chose a drama, the play ends with the audience rioting.
I look forward to the uploads every day 😊 I just finished my first play through this past summer. I know I really liked the game if I'm still looking for more witcher 3 content after my 100 hours. I can't wait to see your journey through the rest of the game.
No, go with Triss, Yen sucks, I absolutely regetted not romancing Triss the first time I played, I went straight into a second playthrough to rectify that decision
I finished the Blood & Wine DLC a few days ago and I got so depressed afterwards that the game was over so I started NG+ yesterday😂 First time I went with Triss and now in NG+ I probably still go with Triss, I just don’t like how Yen acts sometimes, always the arguments and almost no concern for anything so long as it serves her needs, and not to forget how she talks down to Geralt as if he’s a dog that needs to perform tricks at her command! I know that Triss also has her flaws but at least she treats Geralt with a lot more respect, I feel like with Triss he finds a level of peace that he can never reach with Yen.
Oh thats interesting! I still wouldn't personally! I don't want to give Triss false hope and i like my Geralt a Yen Man (Mainly because i feel like that is what he wants, I could totally be wrong though haha)
Notice that Triss was totally sober moments before and just moments after. She has not quite given up the old manipulation tactics... At least it's not spells this time. (Either that or she got drunk during a rescue mission, which is very unlikely since that is her top priority.)

9:57 Hi Jade, you might want to start using counter-attack by blocking enemies, Gerald will thank you, believe me!! 😄

Absolutely! None of them are limited to a trope or a caricature, they’re all extremely well realised!
1:27:51 I love this segment. Being able to setup your own style of stage play is awesome.
