Great explanation! I am using this with my team in an upcoming tournament because the other teams don’t have strong guards. We also have a deep athletic bench so I can sub freely. Good job coach.

Hi coach, I run this on a score, and I run my week side players to cover short middle and deep middle so the split line is now covered, which means the opposing team will need to move the ball on the down the wings.

Can you compare 221 v 212 ? Would you switch them up according to the situation? When and why? Thank you

So if i ran this and switched it up every so often to a 3 2 half court trap do they offset each other nicely?

You forgot to show how to defend if an offensive player flashes middle OR starts their press-break with a player standing center court.

A traditional basketball court is way too big to not allow the second row to cross half.

then you risk a long pass and a 2 on 1 situation ... there are a few ways to play it, this would be a more conservative way

For me a long pass from the opposite free throw line is welcome. A good deep defender will read that
