It's wonderful getting to hear my late uncle's keyboard and backup vocals years later. I'd always heard about this band he was in and we still have the band's stage sign, but to actually get to hear it...it's great!
This is a very obscure band from tulsa,ok. The song is from their 7 track mini lp. As far as i know their only vinyl release. Some real good songs in the vein of kansas and styx. The harder edged songs like keep on fighting, decree and straight line are my favorite tracks. with some heavy guitar and nice keys. The laidback songs like the song above are nice kansas style pomp. On the whole a pretty good record worth searching for. Check the band live here.
Nice Styx, Chameleon, Roadmaster, Stingray kind of a vibe. The song doesn't quite hold my attention for the full duration, but still, with so many keys how can you go wrong? They sound American rather than British, so i'm guessing this is pomp rock, not sympho. Is this from an EP (if so, how many songs are on it?) or an LP?
