I know I'm a couple months late in paying tribute to MF DOOM, but better late than never! Although, "never" wasn't really an option, because he's too much a legend to NOT eventually cover one of his songs. Given my love of food, something off of Mm.. Food? seemed obvious, and given my love of beer, One Beer came out on top. So join me as I hack and slash my way through this funky, off-kilter, and downright fun Madlib production, accompanying DOOM's dizzying rhymes.

alain gandolfi, the then drummer of cortex, did them lots, especially on their first album tropeau bleu, which the one beer beat is sampled from. check them out! theyre excellent

I love that and Doom gets the recognition and covers. He deserves the attention but so does the original sample. It’s Cortex - Huit Octobre 1971. This song is my favorite Cortex song and it’s been sampled by many artists!
