There's this little game I play when I hear a tsfh song I haven't heard before, in which I try to guess which composer wrote it. At first I thought this was Nick, and then Thomas, and then Nick, and then Thomas... I was pretty much tearing my hair out trying to decide. And then I heard that little piano bit towards the end of the intermission part that just SCREAMED Thomas. Looked in the description: Yup! Thomas indeed. He doesn't often start out so loud or intense like Nick but when he does he freaking SLAYS it! Jump is definitely one of my favorites.
I remember listening to this as a kid and it would always make me feel like a badass. Also, this sounds a LOT like a Nightwish song. If it had Tarja's vocals it would be unbelievable
I am listening continuously to music of TSFH since 2018 and i have just discovered this masterpiecce ... How Many others excellent music pieces are there that many people have not yet paid attention !!
This is the best music to freaking listen to while I write my fantasy book, its like the perfect music hahaha. It really makes me get into the characters. God this music really is like a freaking different world... :D
You know that moment, when you're standing in a high place, with a sudden urge to jump? I don't have it... -Cap'n Jack Sparrow There are so many good quotes from those movies...
You should look up Grimm from the Hollow Knight OST. It's a menacing and villanous song, but it's got a similar fusion of rock and classical, and it's just as awesome.
I have looked for this for YEARS! And here it was all along, as a little song called "Jump" . . . Wow. Thank you, Thomas, thank you so much for writing this.
You know it's your favorite song when you literally start hearing it _in your dreams_ and it's still in your head when you wake up. True story. (Anyone else...?)
I once had a dream where I ran away from a zombie apocalypse....then "Immediate Music - Imperativa" set in IN my dream....well, uneccessary to say, things changed from there on... :>
I'm trying to get into acting as a hobby and hopefully future career. One of my goals is to someday be in something that has my character get a song like this written for them. Then I can die happy! :P
You know that scene in a movie, when the protagonist starts to practice a thing that's somehow important to them and becomes better at it as time goes by? That's what this sounds like to me.
I had one night where I was in super duper doing homework mode. I was listening to this, and now this is incredible school work music that actually motivates me to write.
Yuki S Yes, I just listened to both songs back-to-back and it seems they borrowed from Nightwish, perhaps as a tribute, but not enough to trigger any copyright infringements.
Actually, two steps from hell is refering to being in heaven. If you were in hell and you took two steps back metaphoricly, you'd be on Earth, then heaven. Tell them that.
I kid you not. When you are seriously desperate to finish your school work that involves 3 AP English course lessons (one of which involves reading an entire stupid bloody play and writing stupid notes about it.) And you have to finish it plus one more chore in order to hang out with your friend and have only about 7 hours and 30 minutes, and it's already 2:15 a.m...and your brain is already so tired you couldn't even toss your remote onto the couch (seriously I threw my TV remote at the couch and it didn't even land there -_-) stuff gets tense. I gotta get this timeline done, and if my brain isn't completely screwed after this, I might work on half of the last lesson, go to bed and wake up early to finish the last lesson and do the last chore, then internally laugh and scream "HAHAHA! I DID IT. WHAT. NOW." at my mom, because she doesn't think I'll get it done, she's about to learn just how determined I can be. sorry you chose to read all that lol, I just need to take a quick break to rant, this song boosts my inspiration and will to get this done.
The sword felt like an extension of his arm as he swung downward in a wide arc. He turned around quickly and lashed out with the sword again. He felt the blade pierce the armor and then the skin as it went through the body of his enemy. He swung upward and another of his enemies fell dead at his feet and finally he was able to look around and take a deep breath.
This would be great for the final level after you beat the boss and you need to run like hell to escape from the compound that is about to blow, but you still need to fight your way out.

This is what I listen to while as a butcher I have to chop off chicken heads with a cleaver, I do about 100 or so at once, they are all lined up in single file tied down baring their necks, then I pysch myself up at 0:30, then as 0:44 starts is when I unleash hell, chop chop chop.

Here's a short-story I wrote for this song. Please, give me feedback. "We gotta go, now!" shouted the marine. The soldier just stood there, not seeming to care that there are thousands of aliens in front of him. "No, you gotta go." said the soldier. The marine ran for his life. The soldier pulled out a shotgun, he looks ready for battle. "Come to papa, you creepy aliens!" The soldier runs forwards, as he gets closer to an alien, he pulls the trigger on his shotgun, blowing the aliens head off. "EAT THE GUN!" yelled the soldier. An aliens ran towards the soldier, with a giant hammer in it's hands. The alien swings the hammer at the soldier with all his might, and the soldier jumps over it, and lands on top of the hammer. The soldier unsheathes his knife, and jumps onto the alien, stabbing it in the face, and ripping his knife out of the aliens head. He didn't have enough time to see the bullets fly towards him. One bullet hits him. Two bullets hit him. Three bullets, four bullets, five bullets. The aliens are overwhelming him, surrounding him. He can do nothing to save himself. He falls to his knees, blood pouring out of his bullet-wounds. "You... sons, of bitches..." in the soldier's last dying breath, pulls the pin on a grenade, and throws it at the aliens, blowing 3 of them to smithereens. The soldier fell to the floor, dead.

Wow.. I just searched this song because it was mentioned in a Chinese novel and I can't believe how powerful this music feels 🔥🔥 EPIC 🔥🔥
is it 给校草当假男友的日子?? :00
same aah!! campus idol's fake bf right?
haha here!
Which one
Wow, I think we read the same novel. Campus idol's fake boyfriend haha
I remember listening to this as a kid and it would always make me feel like a badass.
Also, this sounds a LOT like a Nightwish song. If it had Tarja's vocals it would be unbelievable
That's because it's a copy of "Siren" from Nightwish. Compare 1:20 for both, it's the exact same ... but Siren is better.
@@youuuuuuuuuuutube Jump is older.

Finally! I finally found this after about 6 years of searching for it after I had heard it somewhere!
I am happy for you man.
Omg ik that feeling that happened to me with Sail by Awolnation lol
Took long enough.Great now you r a true fan of tsfh.
I heard this from a twitch streamer who uses this song, I believe its for his end screen. Got addicted right away.
heard this from an old animation. found after realizing the bands name.

You know that moment, when you're standing in a high place, with a sudden urge to jump? I don't have it... -Cap'n Jack Sparrow
There are so many good quotes from those movies...
I do, so jump!
"There's going to be a moment where you can do the right thing."
"I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."
When classic and rock come together, wonders happen. The guitar is amazing!!!
You should look up Grimm from the Hollow Knight OST. It's a menacing and villanous song, but it's got a similar fusion of rock and classical, and it's just as awesome.
TSFH is the best thing on youtube
@Ironeagle 777 Truth. True enough?
@Costel Nfs agreed
"If you cant reach your goals, jump for it!!!!"
I tried... and I almost broke my ankle
Maybe this is why jumping from high places is such a common form of suicide. Maybe they just listened to too muuuuu nevermind, that's not possible.
Thanks Nightflash
If you can't reach them I assume that you already tried jumping
Yes I'm very fun at parties

You know it's your favorite song when you literally start hearing it _in your dreams_ and it's still in your head when you wake up.
True story.
(Anyone else...?)
TSFH is literally my lullaby and work music.
No but i want that to happen, this song is simply majestic
I once had a dream where I ran away from a zombie apocalypse....then "Immediate Music - Imperativa" set in IN my dream....well, uneccessary to say, things changed from there on... :>
Oddly enough, music never made it into the all crazy dreams i had, if i ever get a lucid one again, ill try to think of it
Wait... Your dreams have sound?
By the way, whoever the guitarist is here, excellent work! You brought the song to immense levels of amazing epicness.
this just makes wanna go on an epic adventure in a far away land, fighting gigantic creatures, and looking badass af!!!

+Tchernobog11 well good luck with your goals! and maybe who knows, i might give you a character to act :D
Reminds me of Nightwish. 1:57 is similar to Siren's chorus.
Thomas, we need a whole album like this!
You know that scene in a movie, when the protagonist starts to practice a thing that's somehow important to them and becomes better at it as time goes by? That's what this sounds like to me.
Training Montage
@@Flashplayer65 I have learned that there's an actual word for it since writing that comment, but thanks for saying it nevertheless!
I suddenly remembered this track. Damn such a banger dude
Pardon my language, but Two Steps From Hell, "KICKS ASS" I absolutely love them.
This song has Nightwish vibes! 🙂
My favorite song from two steps from hell :)
Hell yeah favorite song from this artist hands down and I am jumping for joy every time I listen to it!!!
I had one night where I was in super duper doing homework mode. I was listening to this, and now this is incredible school work music that actually motivates me to write.
How did I not hear this one before, holy shit
Still coming back. Long live the 'Jump'!
This fills me up with spirit and strength! What an amazing song.
First song I heard by TSFH almost 10 years ago
7 YEARS, MAN!!!! 7 GODDAMM YEARS HAVE I BEN LOOKING FOR THIS PIECE AND NOW I FINNLY FOUND IT. THANK FUCKING GOD.
Reminds me a lot of Nightwish. Especially at 1:57 onwards, the melody/singing is almost the same as The Siren - Nightwish.
Yuki S Yes, I just listened to both songs back-to-back and it seems they borrowed from Nightwish, perhaps as a tribute, but not enough to trigger any copyright infringements.
This and its album are so underrated
Definitely not the typical vibe of a TSFH song, but no less brilliantly executed than most of their work.
Esta canción me impulsa a perseguir mis sueños y a luchar por ellos cuantas veces sea necesario

One of the most epic song ever! I fall in love with the part at 3:16 whenever I hear it.
definitely one of their best songs.. in my opinion.. ..'one of'..
Either make the leap of faith, or become an old man, filled with regret, waiting to die alone.

That tune in the song is so catchy and badass, played MTG and had this playing in background as soon as I went onto a full assault, it was so badass
One of my favourite songs
I want to play something by Two Steps From Hell in our band but my teacher wont let us because of the band name :(
My father says the same :´DDD

Let him listen to the album "Two steps from heaven" songs like Cassandra or Promise. He will understand lots of things

Definitely one of my most favourite tracks by TSFH.
If you love this, you'll love their album invincible, especially heart of courage. This is far from being their best piece.
Actually, Heart of Courage is from the album Legend. But yes, it's an excellent piece
My bird heard this, it's still a bird... but it hasn't moved in a couple days
First time I read an actually original "My X turned into X" comment :D

Awesome piece of music. Got to be one of my favourite by TSFH!!!

Not bad.
