Not at all, Nix stood up to Payton and got hazed the whole way into becoming a qb1 in DEN and got trained old school af. Brees gave him the greenlight and some insider advice to stick up to Payton and he did that exceedingly well. Go look up the clip where he confronts Payton on the sidelines, it makes sense. Right after that, he turned it up bigtime. There's a lot of promise with him and his scrambling ability and ability to avoid sacks has been excellent. He's had some great passes dropped including some missed tds, he's better than his stats.
I was at the game Sunday. The receivers were wide open ALL DAY. Bo Nix is nothing more than Tim Tebow. As soon as a defender comes he panics and runs. Not going to win games doing that.

The raiders game he was bad for the entire first half abd we had 3 turnovers and great punt returns that put us in great field position. I don't understand the Bo hate. He's played... Okay. Not great, but okay. He's also on a team with little to no offensive talent, outside of Sutton. And he's also played a very tough defense week after week. The easiest defense he played was the raiders and he played really well in that game. That week he could have been directly compared to Jayden and Caleb, even if he is the worst of the three. I think you have to take that into account when looking at these guys' season so far.

@@jjjay30 I just explained why it will go a lot better for Nix. Vikings have a defense and Jefferson/Addison. DEN has a defense, and they just gotta shuffle the right players out at WR/RB to click. Nix struggles then learns then excels, typically. That's generally been his trajectory.

He has been mostly pretty bad for most of his very short career so far, and I’m sure Colin is smart enough to know this, but the guy likes feeling important so much that he will just say whatever he has to so he can keep his industry buddies. I wish I could say this behavior is beneath him, but I’m not sure anymore.
