White Chocolate is who they called him. Young folk need to study this guy.
Facts.
100% one the best passers of all time
Lol Study him for what? He is a role player at best. His assist to turn over ratio is terrible. Pat Beverly has a better assist to turn over ratio. Yall didn't watch Jason play...dude was a turn over machine.
Shaq said he was his favorite point guard he ever played with because all he had to do was hold his hand up and the ball would be in his hand almost immediately
@@ricksilvas855 He’s the only player in history to pull off a behind the back elbow pass in an NBA game.
JWill is one of the most unique players in NBA history. A true basketball savant
lol, what was unique about his game?
lol savant?
No he wasn't. He was 🗑
Facts
J Will is what we usually called Jay(son) Williams. The Duke Blue Devil who ended his NBA career on a motorcycle.
The Jason Williams being discussed here was always known as White Chocolate.
J will is an elite passer
Hell no...never. stop letting RUclips fool you. His assist to turn over ratio was 2.7 Patrick Beverly's is 3.3... 2.7 is terrible for a true pg.
@@ricksilvas855why you liking your own comment weirdo
@@ricksilvas855Whatever. He was still the third best on a championship winning team
@descartes_8696 not a chance bro.... what are you talking about? He was not the 3rd best. Even an aging Antione Walker was better. You make actual basketball fans look bad. Get real.
@@ricksilvas855 Check the stats. J Will was 3rd behind D Wade and Shaq in points, 2nd to D Wade in Assists and I believe his efficiency rate was 3rd best too.
JWill’s behind the back then fake elbow bump pass is still to this day one of the top 5 best passes of all time
I dont think it could ever be bumped out the top 5 either, only so much a body can do when passing the ball and he pretty much maxed it out lol. to me thats the best pass ever. another underrated pass is westbrook full court nutmeg pass but there was definitely some luck involved with that one
Top 5? What pass is better than that? It's #1 and that more than likely won't change in our lifetime ... Don't mean to be so aggressive but that pass was unreal 😉
With respect to the era Bird had some equally impressive. At least as far as misdirection and completely bewildering any attempt at defense. JWill played in an era with far more athleticism in display, so you had to do some crazy shit to standout. And that elbow was indeed some crazy shit!!
Not really because raef couldn’t finish because it even fooled him but if it didn’t and he scored than it would have been top 3
someone tried that last week , but it was very weak compared to the GOAT passer
I had never thought about it before watching that clip and like she said I’m sure it’s more difficult to do in game but seeing him passing it to her that way seemed so effortless. He didn’t have to look at the ball or line anything up, he just seemed to be doing it by feel and each time she caught it the laces were perfectly lined up. Incredible.
Practice makes perfect
When I watched the first short, the thing I noticed between the 2 passes first was that he passed to her shooting pocket and not to just her. The lining up laces was just icing on the cake.
@@semi6544Bingo. Literally all she has to do is catch and shoot. A great pg does the work and thinking for you so you can be on full auto when you get to your spot
Williams and Iverson were both fun to watch. See their street ball skills at the pro level.
Rachel seems like such a cool person in general.
Simp
2ktv
I want her too
Fucking simps shes a hard 4 and guys like you make them so big headed.
Yeah, she is pretty hot, now that you mention it.
She's gorgeous
As a born and raised NorCal native, I was in my prime of sports watching and my youth when the kings made their run and were the greatest team to never win a chip, but I can remember going to the old Arco arena watching J ball out of control. He was so great coming off the bench, he and Bobby Jackson were just the best.
Jwill was a starter then was traded for Bibby for his facilitating effectiveness on offensive shooting. Jwill was a bit streaky and although his passing was magical he in that current system wasn't a great fit. Vlade was the kingpin and like they use sabonis now a passing big. In the Princeton offense Vlade scored down low first then hit players outside or slashing to the basket. Cwebb was on the high pick and roll and with Bibby and CWebb passed or shot his deadly middy. Bibby was effective as a shooter with a deadeye middy and perimeter shot.
@@matthewyip8695 Boston could have drafted Sabonis in 1986, but they traded down to take Len Bias.
Sac? Vallejo? Yuba City? Redding? What do you consider NorCal
Damn she’s gorgeous
I always said this when I played 2k 😂 she’s a smoke show!
But she’s dumb. She’s calling the seams on a basketball “laces”. 🤦♂️
Y’all simpin

I'm cool with keeping Sexy Lexy. Gorgeous skin, legs sexy af, way tastier than Rachel
My god she’s beautiful
Jason Williams is a legend
The man was cold, sickest passer in nba history
She feelin herself
Thinking about the alignment of the laces while making a pass is some elite shit
Not really....this actually comes naturally to anyonr whos ever played organized ball. The reason is because you first learn to shoot with the laces so you get accustomed to holding the ball with the laces and making passes with the laces. It essentially becomes natural to orient the ball in that way and any other way becomes unnatural. Ask anyone who hoops. Im not hating though cause jason williams is truly one of the most creative and skilled pgs to ever play. Im only saying this isnt some relevation and most hoopers do this subconsciously even though they may not teach it.

Thank you for this comment.

Williams is a complete Legend of the game!
Fine as hell
Passing in such an underrated skill in basketball. Love how Willimas worked on it to have the laces lined up for a shooter. That's dedication to your craft.
That’s not the only reason. He had great court vision and also creativity
for sure! he was so much fun to watch!
nah big respect and she respected so duly respect
My God She is Beautiful
I never watched 2k tv after you left. You were the heart and soul of that weekly channel. Glad to see you back!
Love that guy. He had fun when he played.
I wish Rachel was on my pickup team
J will was more then just a elite passer, handles elite, 3 ball good, defense very good, over all human absolutely legendary.... love this guy ....
wow Rachel your hair is very beautiful, very good hairstyle
She’s beautiful!!!
JASON WILLIAMS WAS EXCITING, CREATIVE AND MAGICAL WITH THAT BALLLL‼️‼️ GOD GAVE HIM THAT "SWAGGADOCIOUS GAME❣️❣️❣️
I been coaching this for the last 10 years
Although he was flashy, he was super fundementally sound. A lot of people think the flash but not the first it takes to get there. Jordan was the same way.
I’ve done that since a kid lmaooo
That video of him showing her how to pass is pretty cool. Subtle details like that are a part what make pros pros and us, well, us
Imagine him and Randy Moss pulling up to your tiny school in the middle of nowhere WV!!
Lakers team here, but I love watching White Choco( with SacKings) play.
The bouncy ball into the circle game has nuances I’ve never thought about.
Rachel Demita 2k Legend
She is so beautiful! 😍
We miss you Rachel 😢, got some basic people running 2ktv and it ain’t the same
Ball is life
Harden does the same for his teammates. He’s obviously out of his prime but that says a lot about his commitment to his craft and his dedication to finding ways to win.
She’s so beautiful
Na fr watch his new podcast wit Bibby n Harlem dude mad funny fr yall need to get hip j will been a real one
Played against him a few times pickup...cool guy. Didn't like to lose, even on the playground 😅
He wasn't just lining up the laces, he was putting the ball on your right hip in the shooting pocket so there was less motion on your release.
he was still lining up the laces
She’s beautiful
I love her
Laces out, Dan!;
I thought that was common sense 😅
JWill used to lob it to Randy moss in high school in West Virginia. They played against schools of like a hundred people. Crazy. I’d love to see their numbers
she is very beautiful
“Worked with”
I never even realized basketballs had laces 😅
JW is fun to watch back then.
75% from three 3 point line is nothing to be embarrassed about that’s 75% which is very accurate. That’s actually unbelievable which is incredible. And you should be proud that you could use 75% from the three-point line. If that was the case when you do shoot threes again that’s awesome.
Sitting on a sofa talking we're surprised its not 99%...talk sells don't it?
Except she nor anyone else has ever shot anywhere near that percentage
Bro you bout dumb as hell. I came to this post 3 months later to info you.
What in the actual F did you just say??
@milosmilosevic9810 I'm surprised you understood what that drunk typed
My goat
It said Kings on his jersey for a reason .White Chocolate was a thriller
Am I the only one that knew this since middle school?
OVER ALL I KNOW HE THAT HANDLE THE BALL WHEN HE HAS IT 🏀

Damn she gorgeous
Knowingly getting in on the big fish tales, nice.

I swear I've been doing that since I was about 10 years old. Been a point guard my whole life and idk how you can play point and not already know this
He was tryna hit that
I started passing with the laces in 9th grade when a former d 1 player told me how he wanted me to pass him the ball…after that I noticed my assist go up ❤❤❤ real pgs and baller know this
Thought this was common knowledge
They teach this in grade school PE basketball tho
Major when you don’t have to shuffle the ball around for the sweet spot before shooting.
I Just got my answer to the question I had form the video they referring to ...
I thought he was lining the laces but felt that would be impossible tondo during a game !
Thought they were referring to the position where the person caught the call with their hands
Crazy details & more crazy execution
Playing ball 30+years . Unbelievable . I have never heard this once said to even try to do for a teammate .
This is a whole next level . I can believe it tho .
Bc he was a Qb and that’s a football type thought to a WR also j heard he has spent hours in a gym dribbling and bouncing the ball and passing to himself with squares on a wall and not take a single shot at the hoop 😅bra like no1 does that.
But when u see how the ball is in his hands and when it’s not in his hands . It’s why he can move and pass like that with the ball on a string for everything that he basically does .
Man they teach guards that in middle school.
I had a great barbicue today
Ya'll did him foul with that mid play photo. 😂😂😂
They teach this in middle school lol
I wish i had YOU on my team
J Will has his passes at No. 1 through No. 5 on the top 5 all time passes in the NBA
it’s the little things 👏🏾 but people think I just be talking non sense
He banged your box up
my crush since 2ktv
No one's ever done the elbow pass except Williams
Wow genius! No one has ever done this. A good shooter doesn't need the laces.... just the ball. He Is 86 all time assist leaders...i figured he would be in top 10 . It is staggering to see all the forwards and centers ahead of him
I learned that from J Will too
Jwill brags too ?
@@milosmilosevic9810 Where's the brag?? I trained with a guy in Orlando. It's another human being. Shits, pisses, breathes, and gonna die JUST LIKE you and me. Smarten up.
Baby girl I wish I had you on my team
She so cute! ❤
Lmfao This is passing 101 😂
Dude I always thought was common sense. I always passed to players the same way.
Don’t mean to be this guy, but these intricate details being mastered is why NBA players get that BAG!!!
ah shooter doesn't mind the laces
Jason said she looked like JJ Reddick....😂😂😂
Harden does this as well. I forgot who mentioned it in a podcast
Honestly lining up the laces for me is so second nature I think it would throw me off if I caught it in the laces
How had you never heard that before
When I played ball....I would tell my teammates, what are you waiting for??? You just the defender time to catch up to me!!! I was wide open!!! I learned how to shoot without the laces lined up...I just throw it to me!!!
