not to be this guy 11 months later but at 16:20 Riley claims Dignan is using a “straw man argument” against him saying Dignan is arguing against Riley rather than against his point. The correct name for this logical fallacy would be an “ad hominem argument,” whereas a straw man argument is the purposeful gross misunderstanding of an argument. i.e. if someone were to say “i hate garfield” and someone else were to say “so you hate all cats,” they are purposefully misinterpreting the first statement beyond the intended meaning. hope this helps.
