For Marcy’s toxic trait it could either be that she listens too much to her head (like you said), she gets too focused on things (a trait of ADHD- hyperfixation) and gets obsessed with it (even if it hurts others), or that she doesn’t always give as much information as she should- basically knowing more than she lets on to. All of these are possibilities. I personally like the 2nd one I said. It lines up with her character, King Andreas could use that trait to his advantage, etc.

If Sprig's mother was one of the previous holders of the calamity powers than would make her the one who possessed the power of the strength gem and then Andreas possessed the power of the heart gem and that toad would possess the power of the wit gem. Also that's strange if the mysterious toad is the giant amphibian in the prophecy since in one of the shots you could see that the toad in question basically has horn like protrusions over his eyes.
What if Sprig's mom possessed the power of the heart gem, Andreas wit and the toad strength? Maybe that's why Anne teleported to the plantars, Marcy with Andreas and Sasha with Grime. Because they possessed the same powers?
@@doorman5857 then why do they have the same colors that correspond to a certain gem? And I think why they were sent to those locations was because they are teleported to locations of the original calamity power holders and/or descendants of said holders.
I just knew the Plantar heritage would be important! They really gave that feeling with the episode Family Shrub. I mean, who has a cool secret bunker hidden in their old farmhouse, hiding the secrets of their many fascinating ancestors, which are covered up by a supposedly boring line of poor farmers? I bet this all goes back to Emma the newt, who felt such a familial connection to the Plantars that she shared secret Newtopian knowledge with them, which is probably how Hop Pop got his book with info on the Calamity Box. I still think it's very possible that the Plantars have some newt in their bloodline from Emma the newt, which is how Sprig's mom got close to King Andrias. But the confusing part about this is that Hop Pop's surname is Plantar, making it seem like he's their paternal grandfather, even though their mother, who wouldn't be a descendant of Emma the newt, is the one that has a newt color palette like Sprig.
Are we sure the mystery toad isn't Grime? Considering his dark green skin and glowing green eye? (Edit: I mean the toad in the painting, not the one in the intro)
A bit of an additional hint for there potentially always being 'three stars' in every world is Frog soos basically admitting it. Or rather the remark made at Frog soos.
@@zemsaney433 One of the theories presented is that all worlds have some variant of three friends that possess the different gem powers. This is further 'confirmed' due to that episode where frog stan said "every universe has a soos" (or something along those lines). So I'm guessing this is a hint for that theory being accurate.
Looks like we're back in action... Ladies and gentlemen, prepare the 14th Battlefleet, organize the Multiversal Combat Squads, and my Multi-Gear AND TIE Defender.
If so, then the true meanings and purpose of Calamity Events such as Weirdmageddon, the Cleaving, and the Day of Unity are now more meaningful and horrifying, right?
@@Sasu123456789x1 Yeah, Multiverse Theory-centered storylines always give me goosebumps for some reason. It makes sense for me to theorize moments like these.
I think that toad in the painting is Grime. I mean if they were a Trio then it would be kinda foreshadowing for the human Trio of Anne, Sasha, and Marcy. And if it was then Anne Ending up with the planters, Sasha ending up with Grime, and Marcy ending up with Adrias Makes way more sense
A giant king who seems friendly and most people think is soft, but secretly keeps 7 coffins in their basement. I’m just saying it’s possible that King Andreas had a little talk with a certain Asgore Dreemurr.
*amphibia cast try’s to put in hard clues and hints* People who’ve already watch gravity falls: YOU THINK THIS US ARE FIRST RODEO!!!!! We got this! *everything solved in seconds*
I don't think Sasha used her manipulation to give herself softer dares but that she really is that much bolder than Anne and Marcy. I mean she joined an army and integrated in pretty easily. In Anne's flashback when Sasha takes her out on a birthday bender, we see how much more rebellious she is (doing graffiti and taking coins from an arcade machine). I think she just likes getting into trouble and always roped in Marcy and Anne even if it can feel like too much for them. The reason Sasha may never lose is because Marcy and Anne were more feeble before and Sasha always enjoying being in the lead.
I'm going to guess that at least one aspect of Andreas' darker intentions might be something about freeing the Knight and perhaps Sprig and Polly's mother. Something like Grunkle Stan's efforts to get Ford back. The kind of thing where one is willing to do some morally questionable things to correct a mistake. There could've been a big argument between their trio and it somehow triggers the Calamity Box. Instead of bringing all three to the same world as it did with Anne, Marcy, and Sasha; it scattered everyone throughout the available worlds. That kind of thing could explain how the Calamity Box ended up on Earth in the first place; it was either yanked along for the ride and sent somewhere else, or one of those two lost figures is somewhere on Earth in hiding. For all we know the character could be disguised as the owner of that shop Anne got the box from in the first place. Andreas could've shredded that painting himself out of shame for his part in that event. The box scattering them could've even been a function of the box; look at how it happened with the human trio: when Anne opens the box they're all unified, with any issues between them being under the surface. Thus they're brought to the same world, but scattered within it to give them all a chance to grow separately before coming back together. If the Amphibian trio was overtly quarreling with one another when the box is triggered, it could've upped its "split them up" function due to the strife in the group at the time. The problem being that no one involved knew about this function, having them always travel together and end up in the same place in the past; or the box being lost in the process and making anyone getting home impossible.
If you look at the gems at 10:40 each has a symbol beneath it, Sasha’s gem has a fist, guessing it means enhanced strength, Anne’s has a heart, which would explain one thing, her eye glows, they only appear when she is defending the one she loves, eg Hop Pop Sprig Polly... and Marcy’s has a BRAIN! Showing that her gem enhances her ability of learning, or such as we see in the Episode: Marcy At The Gates, after extensive research of the Barbariants, she remembers everything, hopefully leading up to them all (Anne Sasha and Marcy) reuniting to face one enemy, Anne defending them, as Marcy strategizes, and Sasha fights! Please Roundtable, read this and think about if it makes sense... also, it would make sense if at the last Temple, with it being ‘Volcanic’ it could be like a final boss, such as something such as a Wyvern... so please if this makes sense, tell me. I knwo you already had a part on this, but I think it would make a lot of sense
After seeing true colors, (spoilers for that) When the calamity stones in Andrias' book say "wit, heart, and strength", this is what Anne, Marcy, and Sasha's powers are caused by. Green for marcy, blue for anne, and pink for Sasha. Already, when Andrias dropped (and nearly killed) Sprig, Anne was so heartbroken and emotional thinking he was dead that her calamity powers kicked in (due to her stone only being halfway charged). And by kicked in, i mean she turned into full on super anne (turning blue, has powers, broke andrias' shield) When marcy and sasha's eyes flash their selective colors (marcy green and Sasha pink), its when marcy uses her mind/smarts to save someone (usually anne) and Sasha uses her strength to save someone (usually grime). With Anne, her eyes usually flashed blue when she would get upset when an enemy hurts/threatens the planters. Even though this videk was made before the airing of true colors (i think), now that season 3 trailers and promos have come out PLUS the season finale, this can foreshadow some future ideas and episodes regarding the plot. Maybe Sasha and marcy might somehow connect to the stones again as well, maybe saving marcy who might get possessed, or in another intense and plot heavy situation. This video definently explains what could happen (and i kinda wrote that before I watched the majority of the video lol)
Rewatching the series and these videos made me think about when Anne stole the box. What if Sasha dared Anne to steal the box on the way to the thrift store?? Also what if Marcy talked to Sasha about her studies of amphibia *if she studied it on earth* and when She sent Sasha the picture Sasha wanted to "help" Marcy with her research?????
I hope we get a flash back of the kings back story and his two best friends as well and what really happened to them and who is the villain this is gonna be good 😁 I can not wait for these episodes
About 12:29, maybe the Earth part is separated because of the multiple versions of Earth in the Multiverse. In fact, there are three notable Earths besides the one where Anne, Sasha, and Marcy lived: they might be Gravity Falls Earth, Echo Creek Earth (probably Earth-ni due to recent events), and Luz Noceda's Earth.
This is actually a great theory about sprig's mom being part of the first 'Calamity Trio' along side Andrias and mystery toad and also it supports hop pop's book that tell him that the Calamity Box is dangerous because it is actually Sprig's mom journal
I the scene where Sasha was in this prison on the back wall were the names Sasha, a other name and Luz ! I trink from the owl house. In an other episode there was cricket from Big city green as a toy on a shelf
I can think of some famous songs that fit the story around the three girls : -"Russian Roullette"(for both Marcy and Anne, especially Marcy) - both girls are puppets, first to Sasha and now to King Andrias, and as we all know, being a demi-voluntary puppet is a very dangerous game to play. One wrong move, or simply loose your luck, and you're dead; -"One Last Time"(for Sasha and for Marcy, should she betray Anne) - they love Anne above all else, or at least Marcy does, but Sasha wronged her pretty bad, and there's a chance Marcy will wrong the protagonist too. If Sasha does regret her actions and Marcy goes throught with her possible betrayal, they're going to feel incredibly bad, like failures, and they'll do everything they can think of to compensate not only Anne, but each other; -"No Tears left to cry"(for Sasha) - if it's true and she does love her friends like the show wants us to believe, then losing Anne must have hurt so badly, that she cried, and when she stoped crying, she was completely dry of her emotions regarding her friends. But she wants to stay that way, as feeling them is surely going to hurt her even further than she already is; -"Never really over"(to both Anne and Sasha) - Anne knows that even though she needs Sasha to go back home, she and Marcy need to let go of this dependence they have regarding her. However, I think she also knows that the most likely way for that to happen, is if she kills her, since that's what swords were created to do. But like Marcy, she doesn't want to do that, she's unable to let her go; -"Fly High"(for the trio) - since each one set foot on Amphibia, they've grown up. Sasha has completely sucumbed to her dark ambitions and manipulative personality, Marcy became more self-suficient and Anne became more emotionaly independant. Problem is, with growth, comes difference between people and comes conscience of the actions of both ourselves and other people, which will ultimately make the girls fly away from each other further and further. So either they make peace with each other and live happily ever after, or they fight forever, eventually one or two either dies or simply vanishes from the map, and the one that's left will forever live in regret, asking herself what could have been.
I'm pretty sure you were on the nose with Marcy's toxic trait. To put it bluntly, she's a cold-hearted logistician. That is, she views events and possibilities as a numbers game, without considering the emotional, mental and perhaps even, depending on the situation, physical consequences her actions may have on herself or others. That's not to say she's a heartless or selfish individual, as she does what she does for Anne and Sasha, but she has a very cold and logical view of Amphibia (As she compared to a game, a fun and exciting, and yet startlingly temporary "adventure" so to speak). Let me reference the Netflix exclusive anime Ajin (more specifically the MC Kei Nagai, I apologize in advance for those who don't know it). Kei is intelligent, he's not evil or heartless, and he cares about his friends, but his intelligence is actually a pretty big point of contention, as even his own sister describes him as "cold and calculating" which he shows when, having gotten a broken leg, kills himself to revive fully healed, much to the visible dismay of his friend Kaito. In that same episode he later ditches Kaito, who risked everything to help him because after thinking about it, he decided he didn't want to burden him, and when Kaito finds out, he's not very happy about it. There are countless other examples but my point is, Kei didn't consider the effect such drastic and quite frankly reckless actions had on someone he considered a friend, just as Marcy didn't think much of telling Anne to separate from the Planters because it was the most logical choice despite knowing full well that Anne had forged powerful bonds with them during her time in Amphibia (Marcy felt bad once she saw Anne's reaction, but had Anne not reacted the way she did, Marcy probably wouldn't have cared). TL;DR: Marcy's toxic trait is her cold calculations that portray a lack of empathy. And the worst part is, she doesn't even realize it's toxic.
15:54 sell the plant that one next to the red marking looks like it has been disconnected before then reconnected and earth has 2 bright stars instead of one may be in the past the had 2 suns and the one that looks like boiling isle has a shield I would guess to the left casted by a strong witch and 6th plant because there is a line trying to reconnect maybe the king trap them there
Did anybody else just burst out laughing when they heard Anne say, "Hey, was anyone going to tell me I have leaves in my hair?" Because I sure as hell did. I immediately rewatched this episode after I recorded it just so I could look back at the Moss Man, the painting, and the book on the Calamity Box. I was legitimately shook. I've been looking through comments on this video pertaining to the idea of Andrias, Sprig and Polly's mom, and the unknown toad being the original Anne, Sasha, and Marcy. Some people believe, because of how they're color coordinated, that Andrias was heart, Sprig and Polly's mom was strength, and the unknown toad was wit. While I do like that idea because it puts Anne in direct opposition with Andrias with the whole "the hero and the villain are alike in more ways than one" trope, I think it would make more sense if Andrias was wit, Sprig and Polly's mom was heart, and the unknown toad was strength. This just makes more sense to me because the frogs have been portrayed as being all about heart and compassion, the toads are all about war and power, and the newts are all about knowledge. I also want to toss out the idea that the unknown toad could possibly be a relative of Grime's simply because they look damn near identical save for the fact that the unknown toad has horns. The reason I'm putting this idea out there is because someone in the comments thought it would be really cool and symbolic if it turned out that the original "Star Trio" or those connected to them are now mentoring the new Star Trio. Grime is already a friend and mentor to Sasha, and they are all about power. So if Grime is related to the unknown toad, than he would unknowningly be carrying on their legacy by helping Sasha. Andrias and Marcy also have a rapport with one another, and they clearly bond over intellectual pursuits. Whether or not this is entirely an act on Andrias' part remains to be seen, because he's obviously using her, but it's possible he has a genuine soft spot for her. And I really don't need to say much about Anne and the Plantars. They're family, plain and simple. I truly believe that Sprig and Polly's mom would be happy to know that Anne is looking out for her family and learning and growing alongside them every step of the way.
Upcoming Amphibia episodes with synopses and my predictions: The Shut-In! (10/17)- In this special extended episode, Anne and the Plantars protect themselves from the dangers of the annual Blue Moon by locking themselves in the house and entertaining each other with the scariest stories they can think of. So they're already back home in this episode, despite the next two episodes being about them going home? Maybe since this is a Halloween special, it's not canon. And I wonder if the Blue Moon has anything to do with the blue gem. Night Drivers- No date, no synopsis, no idea. Maybe that robot frog finally comes into play, and I bet it's about the Plantars driving home. Return To Wartwood- So maybe they're not back home in The Shut-In. I'm excited to see the Wartwood citizens again! Enter Marcy- We'll see Marcy take on a more antagonistic role, with her sights set on retrieving the buried Calamity Box for King Andrias. Scaver Hunt- There was already an episode called Scavenger Hunt this season. Maybe all these titles without dates or synopses are fake, and someone got lazy at the end? But I doubt it. They seem pretty legit.
so as i watched this amazing theory video a connection came to mind. the plantars also seem to symbolize the 3 gems. polly beinh strength, hop pop being wit and sprig being heart. i feel that the prophecy does seem to aim more towards anne, sasha and marcy but i feel we could have a harry potter type prophecy where it could also fit the plantats
Wait what if springs mom got lost while they where traveling to different places. Or what if Andrias found the boxes true power and wanted it all to himself leaving spring mom and maybe dad behind. Im like do we really think hop pop is truly there father. We all thought that Andrias was a good guy but maybe it was all just an act. He captures weird and special animals and leaves them in he's the basement so will he take anne or sahsa there to. Or is Marcy gonna have to pick which one of them gets to go back to earth leading to you Anne and sasha fighting in the season final. And if you think about it, Its kinda like duck tales when della took the ship and got lost on the moon
Anne might have a boyfriend back home or it could of been a crush but Marcy(toxic trait) could have told Anne let go of the crush or breakup telling her to “listen to your head not your heart”.
I doubt Sasha made Marcy and Anne do those dares because she wanted to intentionally manipulate them, because alot of people know Sasha for tricking/manipulating people, but they gotta remember that the three girls were all friends. I don't think Sasha would manipulate them into doing dares because she's just mean.
16:04 my opinion and guess is alternate Earths, My options of the planets names 1: earth 2: amphibia 3: mewi (before fusing with Marcos's earth, or a prediction of said Fusion, I really mean alternate earth the from alternate universe) 4: boiling isles (owl house, and possible future crossover, the one planet with red markings, my opinion) 5: a star wars planet (don't ask, the force is both science and Magic) 6: this last one, my guess somewhere between avatar (the one with blue aliens not the last airbender), and monsters inc (this kinda make sense)
Also in the book about the box, each temple might contain a certain weapon for each of the girls as depicted in the mural! Also a picture of the music box inner mechanism! Maybe that's why it was on earth it was hidden to stop history from repeating itself, and the only reason why anne, sasha, and marcy were transported was because it still had energy from the previous world when it was sent to earth!
A have a feeling that 3 of the 5 worlds are the boiling isles ( the owl house ), the world that looks fairly similar to earth is an earth that Gravity Falls takes place in and the third being Anne's earth. And maybe one being Mewni (Star vs the forces of evil) As well as Amphibia being in the center

In the dungeon it looks like there’s a giant creature that makes up the wall.

Oh. That’s just the architecture.
@@FrostBeast5 Is it?
The three characters in the painting also match the gem colours
The Pea the plot thickens
willinton06 yes, yes it does.
I think they were the first anne and marry and sasha
Ohh I didn't even notice that
Its interesting that Sasha, the pink, is shown to be the baddy when sprigs mom was the past pink.
Are we sure the mystery toad isn't Grime? Considering his dark green skin and glowing green eye?
(Edit: I mean the toad in the painting, not the one in the intro)
The frog seems to have had horns, so I doubt it
It isn’t grime.
Grime doesn’t have Horns. Plus unlike his left Eye, his head doesn’t seem wounded per say. It’s probably the previous leader of Toad Tower.
7:42 that doesn't really look like a horn to me, that looks more like a crown or some kind of spiked helmet, but that may just be me
A bit of an additional hint for there potentially always being 'three stars' in every world is Frog soos basically admitting it. Or rather the remark made at Frog soos.
Kaweta wut speak normally so I can understand
@@zemsaney433 One of the theories presented is that all worlds have some variant of three friends that possess the different gem powers.
This is further 'confirmed' due to that episode where frog stan said "every universe has a soos" (or something along those lines).
So I'm guessing this is a hint for that theory being accurate.
i feel like the world with purple looking water is the boiling isles from The Owl House

Oh damn good theory!
Warden Wrath not grime. Different head shape and eyes.
Grime doesn’t have Horns, so perhaps it’s a Toad Leader before him.
If you’re reading this... have a good day!!! 😊
A giant king who seems friendly and most people think is soft, but secretly keeps 7 coffins in their basement. I’m just saying it’s possible that King Andreas had a little talk with a certain Asgore Dreemurr.

We can’t forget about the Weapons That Had Gems In Bizzare Bazzar. Those don’t really have an explanation
GUS! ILYYYY
Great video, I would have never picked up all these juicy details on my own
Love this video of amphibia I think this was the best one yet
"Each amphibian we met so far"
Loggle:"am I a joke to you?"
Artistic Dragon The Volcano 🌋 trope always makes a good final battle setting.
I just want a crossover between Amphibia and The Owl house it unlikely but I want it
10:34 Actually while Sasha is dragging her sword across the ground for half a frame you can see a pink flash in her eyes.
Anne may your heart be your guiding key.
I am very excited that we got to learn more about the Calamity Box
Anne = Heavy
Sasha = Solider
Marcy = Medic
I honestly thought that the toad next to Young King Andreas was Grime
I think the Unknown Toad might be Captain Grime. I would love it if The world of The Owl House is connected to Amphibia via a special crossover.
Also the sword fight between Anne and Sasha we see in the intro is the the background of the credits.
Really
Love the video 😍 keep up the good work 😆
11:56 Both Emotionally and Literally
18:19 HER EYES ARE GLOWING!!!!!
The Symbolism of Anne looking at Her Papercut is Brilliant.
This was my favorite episode so far!
I love amphibia and owl house because they both have in common there's magic and both of the shows also go to unknown worlds
there was a love triangle with Sprig’s mom Andreas and The Night. Sprig I am your father
Lmfao NOOOOOOK
I hope we get a flash back of the kings back story and his two best friends as well and what really happened to them and who is the villain this is gonna be good 😁 I can not wait for these episodes
11:06
Look, the brain means marcy, the heart means Anne and the fist means Sasha!
18:26 we also see Marcy with the calamity box
Andros is a blue salamander. Sprig's mom is a pink frog. The toad in there is green. One for each color gem. Coincidence? I think NOT!
I can think of some famous songs that fit the story around the three girls :
-"Russian Roullette"(for both Marcy and Anne, especially Marcy) - both girls are puppets, first to Sasha and now to King Andrias, and as we all know, being a demi-voluntary puppet is a very dangerous game to play. One wrong move, or simply loose your luck, and you're dead;
-"One Last Time"(for Sasha and for Marcy, should she betray Anne) - they love Anne above all else, or at least Marcy does, but Sasha wronged her pretty bad, and there's a chance Marcy will wrong the protagonist too. If Sasha does regret her actions and Marcy goes throught with her possible betrayal, they're going to feel incredibly bad, like failures, and they'll do everything they can think of to compensate not only Anne, but each other;
-"No Tears left to cry"(for Sasha) - if it's true and she does love her friends like the show wants us to believe, then losing Anne must have hurt so badly, that she cried, and when she stoped crying, she was completely dry of her emotions regarding her friends. But she wants to stay that way, as feeling them is surely going to hurt her even further than she already is;
-"Never really over"(to both Anne and Sasha) - Anne knows that even though she needs Sasha to go back home, she and Marcy need to let go of this dependence they have regarding her. However, I think she also knows that the most likely way for that to happen, is if she kills her, since that's what swords were created to do. But like Marcy, she doesn't want to do that, she's unable to let her go;
-"Fly High"(for the trio) - since each one set foot on Amphibia, they've grown up.
Bravo!
In the cut scene when we saw her fighting with her I think that means she's going to go evil like Marcy
Theory 3 sprigs mom is alive on eath
I theorized that thing too
I'm pretty sure you were on the nose with Marcy's toxic trait.
Neither did Sasha, well not until the events of Reunion.
15:54 sell the plant that one next to the red marking looks like it has been disconnected before then reconnected and earth has 2 bright stars instead of one may be in the past the had 2 suns and the one that looks like boiling isle has a shield I would guess to the left casted by a strong witch and 6th plant because there is a line trying to reconnect maybe the king trap them there
Hope you get 1 million subscribers dude.
Upcoming Amphibia episodes with synopses and my predictions:
The Shut-In!
I honestly just saw the pictures under the gems now.
If Anne ever finds out that HP buried the box I hope that he comes up with a good reason for burying it cause she’ll never trust him again after that
I hope they air "Contagi-Anne; Family Shrub" again soon
I’m so excited like holy shit btw I love your vids :)
18:23 Yep, while he uses the box to finish what his Ancestors including likely himself started by conquering Earth.
Anne:“Say Desecration” Anne and Marcy:”Desecration”
I think Grime is the third character in the picture. Maybe Grime is related to king Andreas or sprig's mom
so as i watched this amazing theory video a connection came to mind. the plantars also seem to symbolize the 3 gems. polly beinh strength, hop pop being wit and sprig being heart. i feel that the prophecy does seem to aim more towards anne, sasha and marcy but i feel we could have a harry potter type prophecy where it could also fit the plantats
17:46 reminds me of the Running to the Portal scene from SvtFoE's finale for some strange reason.
I think Gravity falls, the owl house and Amphibia have a huge connection Edit: I might add that to the breakdown of the episode I’m making
Indeed
Lol so true 😂😊 lol
Like what
gamefame 2014 I’m confused about your reply
Where's SvtFoE? That way, we can tie up loose ends AND Finish the Fight!
Maybe she manipulated them a little, but she meant those dares in good fun.
Those gems look like 3 chaos emeralds
Wait, this was the mid season finale? I thaught when Ann arrived in newtopia was the mid season finale
16:04 my opinion and guess is alternate Earths,
My options of the planets names
1: earth
2: amphibia
3: mewi (before fusing with Marcos's earth, or a prediction of said Fusion, I really mean alternate earth the from alternate universe)
4: boiling isles (owl house, and possible future crossover, the one planet with red markings, my opinion)
5: a star wars planet (don't ask, the force is both science and Magic)
6: this last one, my guess somewhere between avatar (the one with blue aliens not the last airbender),
and monsters inc (this kinda make sense)
I prefer the pre-Cleaving Mewni and the Boiling Isles parts, but I have doubts on the others.
So much to discover this episode...
