    actually, what is the point of docking horses' tails? if it exists at all... I guess it's painful also
    well horses aren't my favorite animals and it's not so big problem for me, I just think that an image of rider and horse will be better, if the horses have a natural long tail, not such a stump

    do the same with a sidepull and no spurs ;= the flanck of some horse are tageting mark in them, equitation with no tact ! anybody can do that this way hackamore plus spurs overabuse in four lessons ...nice but trully a farmer in the bad way of term equitation. ok for cows management because you need a quick and no hesitation response with absolute control of the horse s nose...
    but please no need for exhibition; no horse diserve such way of life only for show :)

    Such beautiful horses and so well riden. I really hope people from the U.K are being respectful when they go and see horses like this in other countries. This is extremely good riding and must be respected it is classical and all dressage is supposed to classical and this is because it looks after the horses backs when you are riding. This is why they have heavier bits sometimes to make sure the horse does go properly and to protect the horses back and legs. The mouths are much stronger than you think. Riding incorrectly will ruin their backs, sometimes permanently. The horses have their own minds they will not do it if they don't want to. It is like a dance where the rider leads sometimes and the horses also leads when it knows what to do and wants to do it . You go round together it is lovely for horse and rider. . I do have Classical dressage lessons and I do understand how they do things and why and I think if people actually tried it they would understand and enjoy it too. My pony does quite a lot of this type of riding he loves it so do I it takes years to learn and I'm very proud of him. He is my friend who I would never sell and we get on very well.He is cheeky well fed and has his own mind his own friends yet can manage to show off most of the time and look lovely or at least be fun to ride or a complete pain .He is never forced and I don't think horses that hood ever are. (sometimes you need to be firm to horses but mainly kind works best ) So many people don't like foreign riders it completely racist and pathetic. 🤠🥳

    Not sure why it was necessary to knock that cow to the ground. Otherwise, a great video showing the outstanding skill level of these vaqueros. Thank you.

    El cortar el macho(hueso de la cola)empezó en las marismas para que a los caballos no se les pudriera la cola cuando trabajaban

  • @Arenalilla
    @Arenalilla  16 лет назад

    los caballos on colines (sin alguna vertebra del maslo) escobillaos, o con nudo vaquero tienen la cola asi, porque la doma vaquera (con la que estan ellos domados) es trabjada en el campo, y es para que no se le es enganche con algún animal, o arbusto.

    @dalphina 99% of people who ride German and French way (Dressage, show jumping, etc) don't understand this and poo poo it because they can't replicate the same results under their way of training. They make the mistake when they incorrectly break in a horse, trying to do it in the smallest amount of time. Yes A La Jineta's philosophy does take longer to imprint into a horse and rider but the results are far more spectacular and you are doing far less harm to you horse then A la Brida.

    So I have stickers where my horses are also...I brush them all the time over cutting the hair off and being lazy. Roaching everything just sounds like the lazy way to me to take care of the problem

  • @WhiteStarWoman
    @WhiteStarWoman 14 лет назад

    No you don't get it. These are like stickers on styroids and can cut into a horses flesh before it can make it back to the barn for grooming. Do the horses in this video look poorly cared for in any way?

  • @Arenalilla
    @Arenalilla  16 лет назад

    Yes, it is.

    Concierto de aranjuez is in Emule, kazaa and ares.

  • @WhiteStarWoman

    Their tails are docked or braided or shaved because there are nasty barb stickers on the weeds that could hurt them.

    MoodyMare1, there are no "Doma Vaquera" in Portugal, even less in the islands wich never were horse breeding areas. Azores have a pony breed and 2 cow breeds and Madeira don't even have animal breeds...

    Great song! Which is it? I checked the Concierto de Aranjuez by Paco de Lucia, but I can't find the song back on it. I really want it, does anyone know of a CD it's on or something? Also, a friend of mine told me it's originally from Chick Corea, called "spain"... any comments on that?

    I've seen video's of Doma Vaquera exibitions using a Garrocha, but have also seen Garrocha referred to as a style of it's own.
    Could you clarify the differences if they are not the same?

    @in4freedom The real authentic Doma Vaquera or Doma Clásica saddles can only be bought hand made in selective countries in Europe. I'm sure you can get replicates. My tack is hand made in Spain by a producer certified and used by the Spanish Riding School in Spain.

    What country is this from? It is nice seeing the practical application handling cattle. Thanks.

    • @juan1911
      @juan1911 4 года назад +1

      They are Andalusian cowboys from Spain, they are the first cowboys on horseback in history, they already handled cattle in this way at the end of the Spanish reconquest, after the Black Death, southern Spain was depopulated, so the king Castile sent to Castilian settlers to populate Andalusia creating large estates, the farmers being unable to control the cattle on foot as was the custom, chose to turn to the horses to control them, these practices were exported to America in the sixteenth century.
