  • Procter & Gamble's newest installment in its "My Black is Beautiful" campaign focuses on the lessons black American parents have to pass on to their children lessons about language, presentation and beauty to help them survive in a majority-white society. Its goal is to remind black Americans that they are valuable, worthwhile and capable of success despite obstacles, and to encourage other audiences to think more deeply about biases they might hold themselves.

This is the truth in America. My son is 44 years old and my daughter is 34 I had the talk with both of them.

I applaud P&G for the commercials, but where are the black men? Fathers are the leaders of the household. I had MY talk with my dad and I spoke to my children about coming home alive. Is there not someone at P&G that noticed black men were missing? SMH

This is pure evil. A person must really hate their child to take away their innocence by telling them lies.

This is actually a racist video against whites. I am offended as I have never nor would ever be biased against blacks. So it sets up the expectation that whites are racist.

Eileen Baty the point is not to say that all white people are racist. My mom's company worked with P&G in talking about the ad, and the point of the ad is to teach black people how to combat racist white people. Not to say that they did a very good job, but at least that was the goal.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. One collective pain body is frustrated with not being heard, acknowledged, and respected. It wants people to listen. The other collective pain body is tired of hearing about it and wants the other side to just shut up and fade into the shadows. Frustration of non-negroes is aggravated by the fact that they are not allowed by the Politically Correct Inquisition to voice their own pain. Personally, I do not see a real solution on the horizon. Hypothetically, if one were to come, it would need to come from within each individual heart.

The way I see it is social justice no longer means fighting for the innocent victims(SJW's please re-watch "Billy Jack") like it did back in the 70's. It is now communist justice. When we protect pure thugs, even go so far as handcuff police, we have anti-social justice. Every effort to reform the cities are just a waste of money. As long as we support the criminals doing the beat downs, and terrorizing whole cities, real people will suffer of all "colors" maybe we coped out back in the 1960's when we left the cities but, understand it was not for fear of "Black" people it was the introduction of the drug Heroine. Back then even marijuana was front page news. When the "white" youth started doing and getting strung out on Heroine people couldn't leave the city fast enough. Back to today's issues, because we are standing up and saying who is actually being hurt (innocent"Blacks" trying to improve their community and "whites" making a second effort to revitalizing the cities, or possibly their families were not wealthy enough to leave the city back in the day. In any event, they had to struggle through the drugs being introduced like Crack. The Drug Dealers do not show income they have to collect welfare and food stamps and pretend they are poor to hide the money they make selling drugs. The people trying to survive all this now get hit with BLM who are associated with ANTIFA a domestic terrorist organization Socialist/Communist groups. There are the paid protesters and angry young "black" youth not knowing who they should be mad at so they lash out at white people and Police. This is all Media driven, and supported directly by wealthy Corporations Disney, ESPN, and NFL and sponsors like Ford Motor Company, Budweiser and so on for some reason. It is most likely George Soros bankrolling all of this. The wager would be we Americans would revert to a mob mentality to stop the violence. The people being hurt are the innocent victims of drive by's gang related violence, mostly Black on Black crimes but, I'm sure with the funding the "Bad Guy's" are getting the Black on White crime will skyrocket as Soros is going all out to rip the USA apart this year. It's a sticky wicket for sure but' America has some experience with dealing with discrimination and racism in the past. We will survive.

P&G with all respect for your company making an attempt to discuss Racism, You NEED to Re-Record your commercial and ALSO SHOW BLACK FATHERS in Your Commercial!! Just ONLY Showing BLACK Mothers Talking With Their Children is an INSULT Against BLACK FATHERS and the BLACK FAMILY UNITY!! This Commercial COMPLETELY REMOVES ANY PRESENCE of A BLACK Father in the HOME!!! NOT ALL BLACK HOMES are FATHERLESS!! Your Commercial is BIAS!!
