From humble beginnings as a space miner, you will join Constellation - the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy - and navigate the vast expanse of the Settled Systems in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.
I would have made the mod sooner if I knew Series S didn't have the performance settings. As soon as I found out I installed the game on my Series S and made this mod.
Hey is it possible to make a No Filter mod but instead of the filter being removed completely you’re able to adjust it to like 50% that would be godsend
Other night playing Selaco I moved into a closet type area to recover from getting hit by three enemies and the fps went to 100 for a few seconds...a taste of PC master race.
When in space, I love getting up out of the captains seat and explore the ship and relax, organize and talk to NPC's, all the while the ship is traveling-- really cool!(feels a little like Star Trek)
Idk why every game devs doesn’t normalise 60fps at 1080 for series s, I’ll take potato graphics with set 60fps with the choice of bad frames and a good looking game
Because the devs don’t care enough to optimise the games for the series s, thinking it couldn’t run 60fps without much effort is dumb when you literally just posted a mod on a unoptimised game running past the 30fps cap. But who cares how well a game runs when it’s capped at 30?
Some planets have different tints added to them for mood and tone so like when you’re in New Atlantis it has a filter that gives it a blueish greenish tint but with the mod it takes off the filter. In my opinion it looks a lot clearer in dark areas like moons but some areas it looks better with the filter. I think it’s on the front page of top mods this week on creation kit.
with this mod ya. Most of the mods right now are just aesthetic changes. Have to wait a bit until they really start developing more mod options. We're only like a couple weeks into the Creation kit being available.
A bit out of the loop on this one. The series x 60fps is already out right? Not through mods either? Was a bit confused and didn't want to bump up my monthly internet cap installing until I was sure 🤔
@@smudgey5000 Hi, I installed your mod and it is great. I have a gaming monitor with Freesync and refresh rate up to 144 hz. Is it possible that in some places I even get above 60 fps? Anyway thanks it has literally improved my life, because at 30 FPS I used to get headaches all the time.
@@Skycaptin5 Tbh I'd like to see a FPS counter of my mod running by itself. Everyone so far with counters has used my other performance mods with it. I'd do it myself if I knew how or had a TV with one built in.
Alot of people say they get good frames just using this with my Remove Grass and No God Rays mods. I'd recommend using one of the Performance Shadows mod with them though. Shadows really do take up more resources then they should.
Ya so it's like Fallout 4. Turning on mods basically creates a new save character and you can switch between them. Disable mods and go back to vanilla, or add more mods and keep with the modded saves.
No man’s sky really made me dislike this game. Both different I know, but a space centric themed game for travelling to planets really need that sense of flying other than in space. Exploration is not enjoyable on planets with zero vehicles to explore with and is very dull until you reach the main objective on that planet. Limited sense of exploration. Don’t think I will ever finish this game.
I hate the series S soo much. in the earlier years people would buy it then complain it can’t do what a series x can do and be mad like “my friend , you bought a mildly beefed up one X, what’s the surprise?” and to top it off having a series S straight up hinders the development of games on series X Should have never been released The portability argument is dumb because both boxes fit perfectly in a back pack and taking your console out of your living room is a 15 and under activity anyways

Well it’s great that you stepped up, I’m sure the Series S community really appreciates it.
@@Skycaptin5 It's not the first time I had to step up and fix Bethesda's mistakes. Did the same thing for Skyrim years ago on Xbox.
@@smudgey5000 well it’s always appreciated, makes a massive difference for people when Bethesda just leaves ‘em hanging

@@smudgey5000 not sure why Bethesda didn't include it officially
Just give us a official unlocked FPS option... Let people choose how they want to play
Other night playing Selaco I moved into a closet type area to recover from getting hit by three enemies and the fps went to 100 for a few seconds...a taste of PC master race.
I must buy this sometime. The modding community is making it very interest.
Its actually pathetic that modders have to make a mod for 60fps and the devs won’t do anything

It can barely handled 1080p 60fps games.

@@H3llo993 i wouldn’t call this stable though, if devs do certain fps targets it needs to hit that.
Skycaptin huge fan here you should try the “No Filter” mod and let us know what you think!
What does that do?
Some planets have different tints added to them for mood and tone so like when you’re in New Atlantis it has a filter that gives it a blueish greenish tint but with the mod it takes off the filter. In my opinion it looks a lot clearer in dark areas like moons but some areas it looks better with the filter. I think it’s on the front page of top mods this week on creation kit.
Ok but how long does it take till my Xbox howls louder than a Jet Turbine and the Game crashes?
Does the game run pretty good with mods?

Did you check the settings for the weight limit option?
Not at this time, this was just about showcasing the mod as opposed to adjusting my main save.
Sometimes when I have it on it doesn’t work but when it’s off it works help

You don't need the mod on Series X. I only made this mod because Series S can't do it without mods.
@@smudgey5000 gotcha, appreciate the response 🤝
@@TacoMan850 ya Starfield got a proper update for Series X about a month ago: ruclips.net/video/siJHIzjAyEg/видео.html . I covered it in that video.

@@johnjuve4896 videos on here showed up to 120fps with my mod.
The screen tearing on 60 is horrible... With a 120 FPS mode it's much better... And quite surprising... Series S is powerful...
Dude you have 110k subscribers surely you can afford a FPS counter?
That’s not how it works, at all. That aside, I had I tested out doing a FPS graph and no one cared, so it’s not worth the time nor effort.
@@Skycaptin5 Tbh I'd like to see a FPS counter of my mod running by itself. Everyone so far with counters has used my other performance mods with it. I'd do it myself if I knew how or had a TV with one built in.

How are achievements affected if I just try a mod but don't stick with it? Are they turned off for the rest of that playthrough?
i have the same question

@Skycaptin5 Aah that makes sense. Thanks!
Where the list mod in video ?
There's one mod. It's just showing this mod off, try watching any of the video.

Mass effect seems better than both of them
No Man's Sky isn't even a RPG, it's a Space Crafting Simulator that not even remotely scratches the same itch as Starfield.
Mass Effect is great but isn't even open world.
Mod name?
FPS uncap or something, it’s in the video

How does it hinder the development on X?
