It also shows that Travis is much more experienced than in the previous games, where he went slower with making the throws, making it clear he was just an amateur.
No protagonist or series will encompass my personal interests as much as Travis Touchdown and the No More Heroes series; Suda51 will forever have my heart.
The wrestling, the swords, the clothes...but when that description for the energy sushi went out of its way to say "no avocado" after I'd suddenly gotten allergic to avocado.. 🤚🏾😣👌🏾 Glad this masterpiece resonates with others like it does for me.
Super great series, so much style, personality and that extra THAT which is hard to describe but damn us NMH fans gravitate towards wherever it is and love it
glad someone finally made a compilation video for all of the games! honestly had no clue these many wrestling moves were in the game. Very informative.
My favorite move in the entire series is La Quebradora con Giro. It just feels so satisfying to land, hearing the crunch on those annoying ass chestholes. Great video as always!
Con Giro is probably in my top 5 for wrestling moves. I think back in NMH1 it was the wrestling move that always had the best camera angle. Thanks, glad you like 'em
Wrestling moves can be performed on stunned enemies. When an enemy has stars circling above their head, they are stunned. Performing a wrestling move does a lot of damage, makes Travis invincible for the duration, and restores the battery. Grabbing an enemy after performing a perfect dodge has Travis perform a quick suplex. This does NOT restore the battery. Getting Bell-Bell-Bell on the Slash Reel causes Travis to enter Throw-Crazy Mode, which allows him to throw enemies at any time, even when they're not stunned. Send your enemies to Suplex City while you can, as Throw-Crazy Mode only lasts a short time.
Great info you got there so far. There is an error and one more thing: You don't have to use a perfect dodge to use a quick suplex. As long as you get behind them it can be performed during most enemies animations. And you can choose which side you can perform a wrestling move on a stunned enemy without walking to a preferred side. When you are close enough to a stunned enemy, just hold the wrestling move button and Travis will continue to slide around the target until you let go. During the slide, you are invulnerable too. He wll grab them eventually but getting the option to do wrestling moves from the front or back at anytime is great.
Great compilation! Wrestling throws are my favorite part of the series combat, three being no exception. Not a fan of three taking away beat attacks, though. Being able to do throws whenever you wanted by ending a combo with a punch/kick was cool, but three's enemies get stunned naturally way more often and for longer, so I guess it balances out. Also, if your including cutscene throws, I think you forgot the Hip Tosses at the end of Native Dancer's fight.
I also didn't realize how much variety there was in these moves! With the prompt being the same each time I assumed there were only a couple of unique moves but you've opened my eyes! Would I be able to reference you/your videos for a No More Heroes III overview I'm doing? Cheers.
Great point! That's what got me initially nervous on my first playthrough. But funny enough NMH2 has A LOT of wrestling moves when Travis approaches from the left side of a target -_- it got real tricky to tell the difference between them... Oh wow! Yeah, fantastic. Sure of course you can. 😁 I love seeing what NMH content creators come up with
You are correct, I was divided on including them (my dumb reason was that they are submission moves...later I found out submission moves are definitely are part of wrestling lol) I will do an update video in the future...once I make the time to look up her moves names and others
Love how aggresive the wrestling moves look in this game, really captures how much it would actually hurt to get suplexed onto a hard floor
NMH3 wrestling moves really have dat weight to them
It also shows that Travis is much more experienced than in the previous games, where he went slower with making the throws, making it clear he was just an amateur.
Ah yes, very good point

Same here man

I like that Travis has his own preference for each enemy in the game, noticeably against taller opponents
Its a super nice detail that I really appreciate in NMH3
Also The purple TSA jacket = excellent taste
Agreed

Always happy to make educational videos 😁
You're my favorite for making these compilations
FINALLY! I'M A FAVOURITE! 😁😁😁😁😁
You’re a real G for this
Takes a real G Z to recognise a G ;D

@@dapassion3457 I did not know that last part
Pretty neat, right?

Thank you. Yeah, guess it does balance that out well in 3. And yes that is another one that i did miss, an update video is vaguely in the pipeline lol
I think that's more of an Arm-Drag (judging by the way Travis grapples him)
@@boxingcock2341 Absolutely an Arm Drag/Arm Throw, whoops. It was late as hell when I wrote that.
"Cutter -- no, RKO"
THEM'S FIGHTING WORDS SON (lol jk)
Hehe, the only time I will troll in a compilation video
Cool compilation I was wondering the name of some of these
Thanks, sometimes I yell the move names while playing NMH3 xD
@@dapassion3457 lmao

Also the screw buster death kick is a drop kick so you coulda used that one too lol🤝
Lol yooo so true 👍🏾
@@dapassion3457 also theres two more.. when you finish Fu, Travis uses a Lariat and Jack hammer suplex to finish him off..🤙🏽
Funny enough 2 days after the upload, I remembered that scene lol 😆
ALSO THE CUTTER IS WAY COOLER THAN RKO >:O DDP SLANDER I WILL NOT LET STAND
Hehe
"I thought something like this would happen."
These videos are so cool
Happy to hear you enjoyed 'em

Where did you get the text-to-speech voice?
For No More Heroes 3 , I had to go to fiverr and ask a freelancer to do.
I'm still really happy with their work
i take it the tsa outfit is your favorite?
Definitely, mainly because its a purple leather jacket :D
God so beautiful
Truly is. Nice impact sounds too
This is amazing I wonder what voice text to speech program you used for the voice that called out each of the Suplex’s
I had to ask someone on Fiverr for the initial edit.
I'm not sure if they told me for this one what program to use exactly
