Thanks for your suggestion. Maybe next time i remove the dashboard, i will get that done. Already installed the dashboard back and......... don't think I will remove it anytime soon unless there is a need.
@@turbografx.16 surprisingly..... i have not done the doors yet. But i am going to assume it should have significant improvement seeing that it covers a big part of the interior cabin. Probably not from road noise but overall outside noises (like other vehicles sound)
Wind and whistle from the dashboard? The dashboard has no way of having external air in. Did you change your windshield? I know if the installation of the windshield is not done properly, you will get wind or whistle noise that sounds like its coming from the dashboard.
I was thinking of slowing down the video as well but if i did..... this video would have been around 30 minutes long. Maybe instead of 30x faster, i should set it to maybe 5x faster.
This sound proofing work.. Is to reduce noisy & improving silenced inside cabin.. For good result.. its really need hardwork +correct tools & concentrate +dedication... Not advice for non technical bckground personnel... Am i right bro.!?
Hardwork = Yes Correct tools = Yes Concentration = Yes Dedication = Yes Most important thing about DIY is knowledge and patience. Tools, you can easily get them at the hardware stores. And we get knowledge by experience. And to get experience, we need to screw up sometimes to learn. I started off as a total noob during my Wira days back in 2003. Then i got myself a 2nd hand Putra in 2006 and have been experimenting on it till today. I have no prior experience in removing my Myvi and my Inspira dashboard but from the experience of removing my Wira and Putra dashboard, i sort of get how to do it. So to keep it short, make mistakes and learn. That's how we improve further.
hey bro great job man ! I highly suggest you soundproof your firewall

hey, i've been watching your sound proof series... what would you say it was the area which reduced more road noise? my lancer is pretty noisy..
Tyre roaring - do the fender and boot area.
Road noise - do the floors
not much improvement felt after doing under the rear seat.
@@TCsAnythingGoes thank you boss... what about doors? any improvement?

I wonder how much the estimated extra weight you added after all the sound proofing.
Less than the weight of a small child. I did not really calculate but most of the things aren't really heavy besides the carrozzeria.
hav wind and whistle sound frm dash board top area speed above 80 speed
