Midlander in the Mountains Episode 11 - Laxenburg illumina 2022

In episode 11 of Midlander in the Mountains I leave the mountains to visit Laxenburg Park and get in the festive spirit in the evening at Illuminia (a magical journey through fantastic worlds of light). Here I manage to find myself many times! Located just outside of Vienna this castle, park and winter light attraction is well worth a visit and a wonderful experience for all ages.

The music which overlayed the video worked particularly well and the presenter continued to mix being informative, fun and relaxed in front of camera throughout. Another very enjoyable video. Well done.

I thoroughly enjoyed that, thank you. There's a similar nightime woodland walk in Windsor Great Park, I don't know how commonplace they are these days with the advent of LED programmable lights. The music to the fountains was like a fireworks display, wonderful. You're right in your assessment of it as a winter light show and I particularly liked your use of slow motion in Blumenwald, gave it an ethereal quality. As for "After the mushrooms, things got particularly weird", well, we can all relate to that! Great editing, really well presented. Thanks again Craig, looking forward to more videos next year, wishing you well.

I worked hard on sound this time so your comments are really appreciated ! It's a massive learning curve. Making a 20 minute video on your iPhone is one thing.....lugging 30lbs of camera equipment round a park all day is something else lol 😆
