The thing with FOB is that every early live performance of a new album sounds bad but after some time it’s perfect. So far now, Patrick is taking way too much time to adapt to MANIA’s vocal technique. It’s so high but come on.... please do it
Malek Ben Ammar Yeah he’s struggling A LOT. He should just drop the key of the song so he can sing it live like Brendon Urie does on some songs. That would help him a lot and he would sound better. I found myself not enjoying this performance because of his vocals.
I think as they always manage to make it work at some point they keep the same key. And I think that Brendon drops the key of some songs because he moves a lot during his performance allowing him to hit the note while enjoying himself. Patrick has always been kinda static but rn it’s pretty bad
I always thought they would benefit so much from having a touring musician that provides back up vocals as well. Their choruses are often so wordy that Patrick sounds quickly out of breath, and neither Joe and Pete have the vocal range to back him up for the high pitched parts.
After watching this video for the hundredth or so time I figured out it's a pick in Joe's mouth at 3:24. I was wondering what the heck it was. A shadow? The mic from a headset? Food?
