- Eric Doyle Mensinger (born May 12, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA), better known as Eric Singer, is a hard rock and heavy metal drummer for the rock band Kiss and formerly for singer Alice Cooper. Over the past two decades Singer has appeared on over 50 albums.
Singer began playing drums from an early age, and was inspired by bands such as Humble Pie, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Beatles and Queen and drummers such as John Bonham, Keith Moon, Cozy Powell, Roger Taylor, Bill Ward, and Buddy Rich.

Eric Singer is a heck of a drummer. Since he replaced Peter Criss in Kiss, though, he has been playing at half of his abilities especially since he has to follow the "click" in his phones for lip-syncing. A real shame because in the 90's he felt free to play his way and sounded great

Peter Criss is a iconic/legend. Now Peter’s abilities aren’t as good as Eric but Peter was a huge huge inspiration for many. Same can’t be said about Eric
