While my comments on DIY Detail products may sound rough, these products BY NO MEANS are "bad" products, they actually function quite well! 👍 There is a HUGE difference between a product that doesn't align with my needs and a product that does not work. ☝Difference! In this video, most of them did not align with my needs, but does that make them bad products? Of course not. I simply have a different level of expectations when pitched to use a different brand with a different idea of detailing. Some of the products provided to me I probably wont touch again, however, some are not out of the ring just yet because I am still demoing them before and after this video. After all, this was a first impression, not a dedicated product review. So dont take my feedback at heart and wait until I cover these in a dedicated detail, product review, or remain silent in disappointment 😅
Thanks for your honest review. All the other videos reviewing DIY products have been clear (or not clear) paid partners and only say good things. It is more valuable to me to hear an opinion like yours with your true impressions. Good job. Keep it up.
Just a note you don’t need to use anywhere near that amount of quick beads. 2-3 sprays per panel then rinse from bottom up to distribute it. For incredible suds you can probably dial back the control on the foam canon to create a wetter foam. That is what I would do (although I prefer to use rinseless wash)
Yeah I figured that it was overkill 😅 Honestly when I was editing I second guessed it, but it was fine with no residue left over, which was good considering the excessive influx of product! As for the soap, I dont think that argument would work with me considering that this product is comparable to other more high end products at the same price (According to my Local prices). So trying to work around its excessive foaming agents, might as well get a soap that dilutes itself with ease. Again, considering the price is right up there with the premium brands. While my opinions may sound rough, the products are not bad, they worked as intended. They simply dont align with my work routine as a business and content creator. Hopefully this clears my argument. 🤔
Great video! I haven’t used the products myself but having watched a ton of the DIY Detail channel I think you used far too much quick beads. However your comments about incredible suds were interesting. My guess is they are targeting the weekend warrior market and they major on “have fun when detailing” so making their soap really foamy makes sense for people like me who don’t have time constraints and enjoy their car looking like whipped cream 😂. I think Rinseless wash is their hero product and I really want to try that, plus their Gold Standard polish
Oh trust, I am aware I used plenty of QB, and honestly half the amount would have been enough 😂I wanted a generous amount because of the recent rainy weather, traffic film is an issue here in my area. So having a thick layer of beading protection makes those Pre Treatment routines a breeze 😎 Thanks for the feedback tho Mick! ✨Appreciate the comment! 👍
Thank you for your consistent authenticity when reviewing these brands who are just looking for free promotion. Seen too many videos pop up on this company that just say everything is great about each and every product.
The objective of my channel is to be as transparent as clean glass! ✨ ☝️ Unfiltered, no influence, just purely my opinion. This is not a bad brand by no means, most of the products actually did pretty well! However, for those that have been following my channel for a while, you will know I have a certain routine when doing a wash or interior work. 🫧 🚗 unfortunately, most of the products provided to me don't align with my expectations or work routine. 😔 are they bad? Of course not, they simply don't align with what I think is ideal for a detailing session 🤔
