The Acolyte Season 1 is coming. The Acolyte trailer was ratio'd into oblivion, does that mean ...
Bringing The Mandalorian and Grogu, AKA Baby Yoda, to the big screen might be the best decision from Disney Star Wars in years. Will there still be a season 4 of the Mandalorian? How much will these projects tie into each other? Dave Filoni’s earlier announced film, is thought to be an adaptation of Heir To The Empire, or at least the final chapter. Will Ahsoka Season 2, and the Mandalorian movie and Filoni's movie be very well connected?

You just listed the story lines from the Saturday morning cartoon line up from 30 years ago. You left out characters getting blown up, dropped off cliffs, flattened, electrocuted, and killed by fire. There was also mauled by animals, that was used a lot. Oh, I saw explosions is last, you did at least include close to characters getting blown up. Seriously though, have you ever sat down and watched the children programing from the 80s and 90s? Straight up I don’t think I fully understood the entire plot of the 3 movies until I hit my teens and by that time i realized just how many holes in both the plot and Palpatine’s plan in general. There are so many circumstances where his plan could’ve not worked but somehow he knew exactly how everything would go down, people have said online that he could see the future but that was never truly established or even stated so I feel people are trying to justify how weak that aspect of the plot is. The movies are a fun time to watch sometimes but man the plot is a mess at times.

Contrary to what he may think, C-3PO never drew anything like the criticism that the Ewoks or JarJar created.
The problem was and is, those characters soured their respective movies; they simply didn't fit in and took the audience out of the immersive experience.

Mate did you not just hear a thing he said. The people complaining about the prequels were kids when the originals came out and didn't see it as a "kids movie", they were kids. When prequels came out they were adults so no shit they'll see it differently.

@@tache1715 I don't think this is what he said. He said the adults of now will think it's silly because it's a kids movie. When the adults of now were kids they didnt find any problem with ewoks or other silly aspects of the original movies. But the kids of today would find jar jar amusing since the movies are for kids. So he got two facts wrong: kids hate jar jar as much as the adults and his movies are definitely not for kids

The issue people today are having is the culture shift away from heterosexual relationships being depicted as the norm. Apparently, Disney has decided to follow the DEI principles and they want the kids watching from a couch with 2 dads, 2 moms, or 2 parents that don't know what gender they even are, to feel included. Imagine sitting there as an androgenous being who identifies as a female but has a big willie and trying to answer when your kid asks, "Hey Jon, why don't movies ever show kids with 2 mommies like us?"
The move to normalize such lifestylrs is what people are pissed about.
