I've been searching for books to read and never thought of this. Thanks, man, I'll do just that. Connelly seemed like a great guy in that video about casting Bosch
I don't think you're wrong, but how many series have gone past 7 and lived to regret it? 7 is a good number, especially if they're still interesting during this final one. MASH, for instance, collapses under its own weight in seasons 10 and 11. Cheers... Frazier... too many good shows that lasted way too long and by the end were monuments to themselves. Too many writer and/or director changes. Too many stars that got too big for the series. (David Caruso, anybody?). I'll take seven good seasons and call it a series on this one. I can always rewatch it, as I just did with the West Wing for the fifth time. Even that one, which lasted seven seasons, was sagging by the middle of season 6. Seven is good for me.
Criminally underrated series, it also happens to be one of Amazon primes best ! Such a shame it’s coming to an end but all great things must come to an end. Go get them Bosch!
That's going to raise questions since the number of actors who've starred in both The Wire and Bosch also include: Lance Reddick (Irvin Irving) as Cedric Daniels James Ransome (Eddie Arceneaux) as Ziggy Sobotka Clark Johnson (Howard Elias) as Gus Haynes, Michael Kostroff (the Mirage head of security in season 2) as Maurice Levy Kwame Patterson (Gary Wise) as Monk Metcalf, one of Marlo Stanfield's soldiers Rick Otto (Bernardo Piccinini from season 2) as Kenneth Dozerman Tom Mardirosian (Joey Marks) as Kristos Koutris Chris Ashworth (Vardy from the pill mill operation) as Sergei Malatov Antonio D. Charity (Bo Jonas) as Dwight Tilghman
I heard Titus on a Rich Roll podcast recently, came across as a real humble and down to earth guy especially when he talks about getting bit roles for years.
What a way to close out June. Amazon has consistently delivered with this show. I hope they do the finale justice knowing that it was filmed during the pandemic.
Just binged watched the whole season today. What a wonderful series, believable characters great acting and totally gripping. All i want is his house, view to die for.
Can't wait! Read all the Bosch books and watched the first six seasons. We're huge fans. We went to see Bosch's house in the Hollywood Hills, found the right address but you couldn't see the house, just the fence. It was so high up and the drop was so far down. Then we went to find Edgar's house in Baldwin Hills. This is the best show on Amazon.
We will get a spin off show after this finale, Bosch working with Maddie and Honey Chandler on a few cases. It will be on IMDB TV. Bosch saga continues
Amazon has some of the best programming, With Bosch, the expanse And the boys. And now it's Bosch's Final season, it will be missed. I so love this show!
I know scenes by heart, I watch that often. Thank you for doing something through this pandemic that was really needed and just plain good vibes and great ensemble. Can’t wait for our new gift! Thank you much
I've said it before & I'll say it again... Bosch is the best show on TV, streaming whatever. I've re-watched the 1st 6 seasons 7 times & I've been waiting for this season & also the spin-off. On a side note, with all the Bosch books to draw from, this show could last 20 years.
To anyone wondering when season 7 would release in India, here's my guess. Season 6 released on the same day as the United States, but got pulled the very next day. And it released again on prime on Janurary 1, 2021. So going by that, I expect season 7 to release on January 1, 2022.
Noooooo Way, this CAN’T be the final season. This is the best detective show on TV. Hell, there hasn’t been another to come close for over 25 years. There are plenty of Michael Connelly stories left to tell.
Alright Bosch writers room... the Stringer Bell-Marlo Stanfield reference (at least cut up here) is a nice ode between two truly exceptional series. 👊🏽
I remember reading the book, way before the TV series was made. Titus, fits the role of Bosch just perfect. Bosch & J. Edgar, are the best partners in TV series.
These great shows only come around so often. I love all the supporting cast too especially J. Edgar. And not to mention Crate and Barrel. I’ll be sad to see Season 7 end.
No matter what people say. This one is best series I have came across on ott platforms in coming years after the wire... Thanks Amazon for making this beautiful and exquisite series.cant wait for final season.. btw fans don't disappoint spin off has already been called in.. so finger crossed..
Just finished watching. Took all my time as it was last season. Really good ending. No over the top action like the series do during their farewell. It continued with the same pace like it was before. That is what I have loved about Bosch. Its so uniformly paced and still you feel heart racing. P.s Might see spinoff too. Dont be dissapointed.
The book this season is based on was terrific. I'm glad there's a new show coming after this one. Connelly has a ton of great material that hasn't been used in the show yet.
Season 7 is based on The Burning Room, which isn't the the book mentioned in the narrative below the video. That was season 1 - City of Bones, w/pieces of Concrete Blonde and Echo Park
Detective: "Kinda like a female Stringer Bell" Jerry: "I don't like the sound of that" Haha I see what you did there! Perfect final season to a perfect show.
After watching Season 1 years back, I went to buy an Audio-technica record player and got some of the Vinyl records that Bosch play's.Cool music, love it 💪🇮🇹
I've waited so long for the final season that I literally forgot the storyline of the series. Now I have to watch it all over again just to get caught up.
What about James Ransome (Eddie Arceneaux in season 2) as Ziggy Sobotka? Clark Johnson (Howard Elias) as Gus Haynes? Michael Kostroff (the Mirage's head of security from season 2's "Victim of the Night") as Maurice Levy? Kwame Patterson (Gary Wise) as Monk Metcalf? Rick Otto (Bernardo Piccinini from season 2) as Kenneth Dozerman? Tom Mardirosian (Joey Marks) as Kristos Koutris? Chris Ashworth (Vardy from the pill mill of season 5) as Sergei Malatov? and Antonio D. Charity (Bo Jonas) as Dwight Tilghman?
For the people asking: the song in the trailer is "You Can Run" by Lee Richardson, Jonathan Murrill, Tom Ford, and James Cocozza!

7 seasons shows its not underrated
Just finished watching all seven seasons with my elderly parents. We all enjoyed it very much.
The best show that nobody has heard of. Constantly recommending to my friends and fam.
True and sad, but we are lucky fans, we got 7 seasons and a spin-off thanks to Amazon Prime. Netflix would have canceled Bosch after season 1 or 2. 😂

If you know, you know.
Read the books. Start with The Black Echo and make your way through them. Michael Connelly has given me 25 years of good reading.
I started reading his books in my tween years and I may have missed a couple but I always come back to Harry and Michael.
Thank you for saying it.
They're amazing, I'm on book 11 now if you count all the tie-in novels.
yup just read like 9 of the things since the last season ended. makes you appreciate the casting they really killed it

Truly the best show, Michael Connelly is just the greatest crime writer and yes this show needs more mainstream attention!!!!
yes indeed. i agree: Michael is the best!
One of the best shows out there. So sad that it's the last season. I could watch this for another 7 seasons.
Right?? Though they're doing a spin-off with much of the same cast. In it Bosch is working with Honey Chandler.
@@sionafrancesca Well that's good. At least we will still get something. I think eventually we might get something with Renee Ballard too. 🤞
