How are people so good at setting up towns? Like I use hacks and I don't even know where to put anything, its so difficult to see where things look good. Mega kudos to people who set up their town before hacks were discovered. In other words, cute town!
pastelia actually wasn't hacked originally! u can find some videos of the old pastelia here on youtube if u search for it. i think creating a town that looks good is difficult with or without hacking, u definitely need a lot of patience haha. anyway, thank u and good luck w ur town!! ~ ♡

Idk why, I remembered new leaf to have better quality, and I was shocked to see it like this especially after playing new horizons... but this game was still my childhood!
I've both worked towards a non-hacked and hacked town. The old, non-hacked version of Pastelia can actually be seen here on RUclips from dream visitors who recorded their dream town tours of it! I can say that it does feel more accomplishing to complete a town that is non-hacked since you have to work at it everyday or through time traveling, but I can also say that hacking a town was quite fun. It made the game fun for me again after 5 years of playing it. I guess what I'm trying to say is that hacking didn't ruin the fun of working hard for the town I always wanted, it actually took a lot of time. Most people who don't hack don't realize the time and effort that it takes to hack and put things in place. I don't know, I guess I'm just getting bit tired of people discrediting the work I put into the new Pastelia "just bc it's hacked" :/ You're allowed your own opinion tho, and I respect that~
I don't get this logic. Imagine having everything at your disposal. Would you know where to start? Would it not take thought or vision? Would you just place everything and have it be perfect even though your town is now on a grid and you have no idea of where it's actually being placed? Would you not have to reconfigure things to get it just how you like it? Would you not have to make/search for paths and place them? Would these things magically not take time or work? It is hard work just in a different way. Keep in mind that A) A lot of what is considered "hard work" isn't hard work at all. A lot of aspects of AC is a huge waiting game. So yeah, my time is cut down by having x amount of bush starts, but it's not because of hard work it's because only x amount can be purchased in a day and you don't know what the selection is, so you're continuing to wait until your desired start is being sold ( and if you're a purist and don't TT forget about it ). B) Chances are extremely high that people that are doing this have been playing the game and are most likely on their second or so town. What's "fun" is already subjective, but it becomes more so when you have been playing the game for years. Sure the thrill of finally seeing something you want being sold at first is cool. After 5+ years and hundreds of hours you just want your thing already. Personally, I'm on my third town and it is hacked. Grinding on the island at night for bells wasn't even "fun" the first time, let alone the third time. And certain aspects were never "fun", like never getting the PWP's I wanted requested after 700+ hours. Or having my hybrids destroyed by new villager house placement and not being able to control where I want them in MY town. I'm supposed to be Mayor dammit! The only reason I even play now is because of hacking. Like Pastelia it renewed my interest in this game. To have no limits (well almost none) and be able to truly see what I can do in my town without stupid little restrictions. As much time as I put into my first town I will never be satisfied with it. I actually really truly love my current town and am still working on it everyday. Sorry this is long I just think it's a huge misconception that your town is just magically beautiful because it's hacked. It still takes time and work and can be really fun! Her town is beautiful because she had the vision to make it so. I've seen ugly hacked towns with no real attention to detail or placement. Just rare things strewn about.
I actually just started animal crossing. And i'm looking at other people's beautiful towns like this. Honestly, this is the cutest and most ideal town I want and need right now.
Even though some details are hacked, your town is absolutely beautiful! I just restarted the game so my town is a WIP, but this inspired me to pick up the game a little more than I usually do! I feel like the only one without a dream address x3

For the trees, they turn pink for/durning the first two weeks of April. As for peaches, you can do two things: •when you start your game, you could get peaches as you native fruit •you can go to a town with peaches and harvest some to plant back in your town

You can get peaches by: 1. Getting them from another town 2. Having them as your town fruit 3. Having a villager give you one as a "thanks" for helping them You may be able to get some from the island too, can't remember.

Oh I think she hacked because when u hack u can spawn In any charecter u want if you want to hack I reccomend mischa crossings tutorial it was helpful for me!
you can get Chelsea if you have her amiibo card and then call her in your campsite then talk to her for her to move in (if you have enough space for a new villager)
I feel super upset your town is so cute but my town was doing good but then it said the data was courrupted and needed to be deleted and now my town is reset and horrible

You mentioned that RAM hacking is not available? Is that because of the update? I just recently got ACNL and my villagers are moving in very awkward places and moving their houses is the only reason I wanna hack right now. Will I be able to do that?
Soundhax works, mishca crossing did a whole video on it, and she explains everything to the best ability i think you can even explain hacking. It'll let you use the 'ram editor', it's been updated/upgraded to the acnl editor, so it works with the amiibo update acnl got!
In the video, I said that the "thanksgiving event table" wasn't available anymore, but I was informed on tumblr that it actually is still possible. I may do an update later hehe. That being said, Ram hacking is in fact actually dead! It even says so on the ACNL editor's website. However, you can still edit your save file without as many options as ram hacking originally gave. When ram hacking was alive, you could for instance, change the grass/dirt in specific parts of your town rather than just reviving all the grass in your town which is the only option now. Hope this explains what I meant in the video :)
Town ideas: •pastel themed •nighttime/moon themed •forest themed (like dirt paths) •city themed •overgrown themed (dirt paths, a lot of plants and trees, mushrooms and clovers everywhere, hidden work projects) I hope that helps!

My town will have lots of white flowers, with brown bricks on the floor. Believe me, I just started and it's so pretty.
