It always pissed me off when people leave him out of those with best vocals and anytime anyone wants to mention him being the best,others always gotta jump in and say "well,there are others " like shut up
Fun Fact: Taemin also asked Jonghyun to lower the key on Already, which he did but still refused to perform it live because he said the key was still too high lol. Taemin did, however, perform Already live at his concert after Jonghyun’s passing and absolutely slayed the vocals! He also kept Jonghyun’s backing vocals for the concert performance ❤ It was like he was performing for and with his hyung 🥹
If you liked Moon and Cocktail some similar songs would be Fine, Orbit, Hallelujah, Suit Up, Red (tbh the whole She is album kinda has that vibe too). Also I recommend Let me out it's so beautiful with some hella powerful vocals.
OMFG Jonghyun's voice is so so…. incomparable!! I just love that he seems to have an internal fit and flexibility in changing tones as if it's something natural to him! Thank you very much for reacting to Cocktail, I'm sure you will find great songs in his solo discography and small details will be better understood 🙂

And song rewind is just so pretty! Also not to mention songs he did for others and shinee! Like odd eye! Or no more by lim kim or red candle by som dam bi
Omg yes! Jonghyun did romance and passion so so well. Actually, every song he made emitted a certain feeling and it always felt like he was singing his actual emotion which is a really rare talent. I don't know if this makes sense. 😅 but his singing makes me feel like I'm peeking inside his heart, feeling exactly what he's feeling throgh his voice.
@@itsmeleenieJonghyun is who hooked me into Kpop. I had heard a variety of Kpop songs over the last decade and although they were catchy and neat, nothing made me stop and listen. Then I heard Diphylleia Grayi and, as a person with some experience as a singer, was absolutely blown away by his vocal talent. I dove into his discography and then into SHINee in general (whom I love).
@lionelcrews1422 Diphylleia Grayi is one of my favorite songs!! I completely agree. Jonghyun was more than just an idol - he was a true artist and his music went beyond just catchy tunes. It was meaningful, complex, creative, and more.

jonghyun was the nation main vocalist for a reason. His voice had so much range and like you said aaron his tone was only one.
