Agreed. KH3 has some of the weirdest pacing I've ever seen and the DLC didn't do much to help that. Each game ends up being more confusing than the last; leaving more questions than answers. I still love this mess though.

To be serious for a second, i feel like the Re:Mind portion of the DLC should have been in the base game, but i'm fine with the other stuff being DLC. Every game needs a complete main game, but not all of them needs a post game. And not to mention the extrastuff always comes out later in other releases.
I wouldn't say that in full. A lot of the plot shown should have been better represented but there is no good way to implement this content without interrupting the flow of the main game. You need to beat the game once for most of what happens to feel impactful. Playing as other party members works but when it's the final boss rush in the main game it's hard to balance for both player and character levels. To keep the game challenging and prgression rewarding you need to play as Sora through the main gauntlet. I don't know how I feel about using the ending of the game to advertise and tease dlc that is integral to the next games story, as well I don't know how I feel about the price. What I am sure is that the dlc is justified. It expands on the main game, gives a lot of content, and nothing really feels unfinished in either main or dlc when it comes to both story and mechanics.
