He was a very good player. His prime was at Everton, and he actually managed to get in the Premier League team of the season in 2006/07, at his peak. He was very unfortunate he had a couple of very serious injuries in the years after that while he was in the verge of breaking into the Spain national team. I really thought he was a great player at the time. Quite solid at Arsenal.
