@@Veightard Great idea! I can't recommend them enough, they're excellent. The world Rothfuss built is expansive and excellently written, but will require several listen-throughs due to the nature of his craft. Enjoy, let me know how you like them if you fancy!

There are hints of it before, particularly when Tom is singing of Goldberry, but I love how the tone totally shifts when Goldberry joins in with him. All of sudden, one is like "Oh snap! I don't know exactly what this is, but it is Deep Magic. This is the Earthsong!"
I read the books as a kid, but I must say, I'm enjoying the audiobook more than the films. In fact, I often go back a chapter so that it lasts longer :-)
Thanks so much!!!! The 8 hour audio book part 1 of the lord of the rings the fellowship was deleted the other day like right after i watched and liked it. This song was in there and i really wanted to hear it sung properly :) BEST VERSION!!!
I’m in the process of listening to the audiobook and let me tell you, there are no words to describe how amazing Rob Inglis’ narration is.
I've heard them a few times now. and I must say after listening to a lot of audiobooks and he is the best narrator I've heard
Couldn't agree more. The only comparable work in my opinion is Homer, specifically the Iliad translated by Charlton Griffin.
@@Veightard Rupert Degas does a solid Kingkiller Chronicle audiobook, for me on the (rare) level of Inglis.
@@MrScrax I've been looking for something to listen to on my mailroutes so I'll check it out

Rob's singing was such a fantastic surprise when I listened to the LOTR audiobooks. Made it so much more immersive
Thanks Vinny

This was my first audiobook and I was really amazed when I saw the great performance and effort. I fell immediately in love with audiobooks.
Thanks, I really love these renditions of the songs with just the voice alone
That Robert Inglis man.
He's got some chops
very powerful energy emits from this song

It seals Tom as the anti-Sauron.
Best two minutes of music ever!
This is probably the best thing ever.
I ❤️ this song!! When you’re feeling down, just play this tune and you cheer up in no time!!☺️ I can’t stop singing along with him!!😄
Not even a barrow wight is stronger than Tom's singing!
This song carried me over some dark moments in my life. Infinite gratitude!❤
i can't stop singing this Inglis hit it out of the park
This was my favorite version of the song. Robert Inglis’ has just got something special to it that makes it less strange-sounding.
This was EXACTLY what I was searching for after listening to the audiobook. You're my hero 🤓🤓
I've begun to suspect that Rob Inglis *is* Tom Bombadil
he has the best versions of the songs :D

The saddest exclusion from an amazing trilogy of movies.

While many enjoy reading LOTR, I enjoyed more listening to Rob Inglis's narration.
I hope someone can make Brian Blessed sing this song.
Thank you for posting this!
Thanks for posting this, I was having trouble finding it
My battle song! *grabs grass wood longsword and cat stallion
He sounds like Tom Bombadil
Don’t forget that Tom invites the ponies to the party, all are welcome to the forest ragers of Tom Bombadil and the Goldberry the River Daughter
Rob Inglis did the best version of this song, and its so hard to find
best version.
Canonically this is God within Middle Earth
Classic song for autumn.
Jolly Tom, Asia. Where was Tom!
This is bringing back mad childhood vibes, anyone know the narrator so I can download this LOTR audiobook version?
OREN rob Inglis
he popped off reciting Goldberry's lines
"Windows down, feeling like a G"
BUMP!!! Still The Best Version Ever, Bob Inglis... I Want a Metal Version... Old Iron Maiden or Queen Style... Oh Well, maybe in the next Life!
I wish someone would add some Celtic background folk music to this 🥺
Where did the sound go?
Rob inglis the best to do it
Does anyone know what tune this is or did Ingris write this music?
Ive always wondered how the audiobook production decided the tune he would sing each song too.
@Harris Farley Thank you so much for sharing that! Tom Bombadil is my favorite LOTR song so im glad to know that great piece of trivia! :)
Set it at 2x speed. You're welcome
HI EVERYBODY
