I was thinking about MC personality a while ago. She is always very determined, lovable, and so very lonely. I think only in Shooting Stars did she have friends and only in the present Linkon does she have a family. When she met the boys, usually while fighting for her life, there was never mention of a place to return to. Probably because of the environment she grew up in, she was different every time. Like how gullible she is in the Sea of Golden Sand in contrast to how resentful she is in Beyond Cloudfall. In Beyond Cloudfall she was abandoned and almost killed by the people, so she wanted revenge and see the world burn. But in Snow`s Embrace, the people also accuse her and cast her out, but she felt no hatred and just live quietly in the mountains. In both Forgotten Sea and Sea of Golden Sand, MC wants to be free, but in the former she`ll do anything to survive and in the later she had a more naive curiosity.
Yes I love that!! With each reincarnation and new environment. I love the idea that their "soul" carries forward, always finding the one they are meant for but it would be a great addition if there was an original soul. Perhaps a soul that was curse to be reborn an reincarnate due to some sin she committed. Going back to the idea that we have different versions of MCs for each Lis is refreshing. It’s so different from other otome games that I've played! Finally, we get an MC who changes to complement each LI because the plot and context support that-reincarnation. I love me some otome games but I've always wondered if its realistic for all main leads to have the same type in a person haha 😂
Man xavier is so selfless it made me his hard stan i didn't regret it at all even at the starting he just looks cutie ptutie but he got layers😫 deep into depression

The Cloud reference makes me want to high-five you! The first time I saw Xavier, I jokingly told my friend I was going to named him "Not Cloud"~ Also, I sometimes call him Grandpa because of his age, being an immortal over 200+ years *cough cough*! And I also have to agree about our male leads all being tied to EVER. Caleb is currently working for them (but he's finding ways of trying to get them out of the conspiracy in secret), Rafayel is still set on avenging his people and taking back of what was rightfully his and his people, Sylus is keeping an eye on them, and Zayne has connections all thanks to his work field. Sooooo, yeah, I feel like after we get Caleb's other Myth or our upcoming 6th love interest, we can see all of them together in the main story line.
At some point I feel like Ever will create immortality and create Philos, some of Xavier’s group turns to work for Ever in the present timeline, they not only create the future, but comes back to stop it and falls into this loop. His storyline is so sad that I sometimes wish I could stay dead to avoid everyone’s misery.😢

Now I’m wondering if they’re not all stuck in a time loop like what that message says at the beginning of the story. And the only ones who are aware of it are the LIs. Meanwhile the MC is starting to become aware! The devs are really cooking with this one
@plumedargent3359 I got the impression only Xavier fully knows how time + the universe work. I don't think the others are aware of the time loop. Caleb may have some knowledge, but not the whole picture. I don't have canon to back it up, just a feeling that during his missions and royal ceremony, Xavier saw all of the dimensions and time at once. His extra fussy jealousy stems from knowing that MC doesn't choose him in every reincarnation or dimension. Poor guy just wants to be safe with her in just one dimension where she loves him. 😭💔

His lore was really confusing to me, but now I understand it. This game is honestly too good. MINOR SPOILERs (I’m also totally convinced now that Xavier is a descendent of the Professor, since he seems like the true leader of Ever, which I believe becomes the Royal Family in the future.)
Would love an Ever video. One thing that stood out to me in regarding Ever details in the recent update was that the two children (the brother and sister that MC is trying to help) are twins- and the only other case of twins we've seen are Luke and Keiran in their backstory notes. I think that tells us enough to assume that Ever specifically hunts down sets of twins for their experiments, but I'm still trying to work out why... Have you thought about hosting a lore discussion discord or something? I'd love a chance to throw ideas around and discuss things!

When Xav was teased pre-release, his trailer left me in such awe (in shock of how an animation could look breathtakingly realistic) it was the only thing playing in my head for the days after that XD Like this was around mid-2023 and I was already infatuated lol I thought it was a stand-alone Chinese clip which wouldn’t become much, not knowing it was LaDs haha

I think brainstorming and listing all the things Ever has done & Ever's involvement with all the LI & MC would be great. But again after you read Caleb's branch!? Ever's notorious involvement with MC's past present & future makes it so frustratingly difficult to see the bigger picture. Now that we know 'professsor' & 'professor's family' agenda, makes the Lore more interesting

I felt extremely bitter by the end of Shooting Stars myth. As the MC, I felt abandoned. Twice. MC in the myth might have already been used to Xavier`s disappearances, but leaving for 200 years without saying anything to her? That was cruel. And they only met again by chance, he didn`t return to her. Moreover, even though he knew of MC`s feelings, he let MC misunderstand whom he was in love with. If he had confessed his feelings for her before mentioning eloping, I don`t think she`d refuse. It`s not that I wanted him to stay forever by MC`s side (we all know those stories are going to be heartbreaking), I just wanted him to make the time they had together a little sweeter by confirming her love wasn`t one-sided. MC spent her whole life in a unrequited love, trying to find a way to stay by the his side in any way she could (by being the future king`s knight, because she never thought she had a chance to be his queen), and was left behind to rule a dying planet. Imagine being the person in charge of a world that is about to end. The pressure, the distressed people, the helplessness, the loneliness. I love Xavier. But his refusal to talk complicates so many things that could be easier.
Yes please on the Ever video. There’s so much that still confuses me about them mostly what is their main motive for causing all the havoc they wreak 😂
As a Raf and Sylus main, I also think Xavier has the most interesting background story. I am convinced that either or Sylus is responsible for the chrono rift catastrophe. Before Caleb they were the only LI who canonically messed around in space. Although Caleb doesn't really count since he goes on reconnaissance missions. Unless the 6th really is Ever's CEO, I have to say he has the most fleshed out and tragic story. Whereas the other LI's story involved some kind death and rebirth, Xavier felt EVERY. SINGLE. ONE of these years pass. Not only did he actively witnessed the death of the love of his life but he also met countless people, got to know them, probably watch most of them grow old and die or just be forced to abandon them. He had to witness MC not remembering him each time she respawned without being able to do anything about it. yet bro is STILL looking for a way to save her! Mains aside he really is the main character amongst the LI's. I would argue Astra hates him more than Zayne and that's saying something. Since we know more now about the top dog of EVER since the release of EVER maybe his backstory will be more interesting and tie all the loose ends together. If not him then maybe Astra himself. I'm really in the dark on that one. SPOILER AHEAD! What I don't understand tho is where Xavier gets the drug the other backtrackers go to EVER for. If I Remember correctly the guy who retrieve Grandma's data after the explosion to give it to the raincoat guy is a backtracker who requires some substance. It's hinted that he sounds old and the other backtrack Xavier finishes of in the alley is also turning into a monster. So it's safe to believe that the substance is what the backtrackers are after but Xavier uses a vile in the the side branch. Is that substance? If so, how did he get it? Did he steal it from EVER? Was it given by the same person or people who got him the collar? Why not share with the other backtrackers ? The substance AND the sleeping. pod. How do the other backtrackers who didn't join EVER sustain their youths then? Agh! Again so many questions!!!!!! Major spoiler warning before continuing of the new Caleb story. At the end, we get a glimpse who the top of EVER is and it appears to be a gaunt , both young and old looking at the time who is quite sickly and mentions that he had been waiting for a long time to do something with MC. What if he was also a backtracker!!!! what if EVER was created by the backtrackers or an older version of time travellers. This seems improbable but we know that either going forward in the future or backwards in the past, everything surrounds EVER. So either they caused the creation of Philos which is the most probable or other time travellers messed with time and space before Xavier, also got stranded on current version of Earth and were looking for a solution and they caused the catastrophe. Kind of like a self-reinforcing loop kind of thing Again too many questions, too little answers :( Either that or the popular belief is correct and Astra is EVER's CEO weakened I suppose, but I personally wouldn't like if that came true. And if Astra really becomes an LI, I don't know, it would leave a very spicy taste in my mouth. yes I said spicy coz that Astra really pisses me off. Anyway all this blah blah to say please do a video on EVER lol

I felt extremely bitter by the end of Shooting Stars myth. As the MC, I felt abandoned. Twice. MC in the myth might have already been used to Xavier`s disappearances, but leaving for 200 years without saying anything to her? That was cruel. And they only met again by chance, he didn`t return to her. Moreover, even though he knew of MC`s feelings, he let MC misunderstand whom he was in love with. If he had confessed his feelings for her before mentioning eloping, I don`t think she`d refuse. It`s not that I wanted him to stay forever by MC`s side (we all know those stories are going to be heartbreaking), I just wanted him to make the time they had together a little sweeter by confirming her love wasn`t one-sided. MC spent her whole life in a unrequited love, trying to find a way to stay by the his side in any way she could (by being the future king`s knight, because she never thought she had a chance to be his queen), and was left behind to rule a dying planet. Imagine being the person in charge of a world that is about to end. The pressure, the distressed people, the helplessness, the loneliness.
I love Xavier. But his refusal to talk complicates so many things that could be easier.

As a Raf and Sylus main, I also think Xavier has the most interesting background story. I am convinced that either or Sylus is responsible for the chrono rift catastrophe. Before Caleb they were the only LI who canonically messed around in space. Although Caleb doesn't really count since he goes on reconnaissance missions.
Unless the 6th really is Ever's CEO, I have to say he has the most fleshed out and tragic story. Whereas the other LI's story involved some kind death and rebirth, Xavier felt EVERY. SINGLE. ONE of these years pass. Not only did he actively witnessed the death of the love of his life but he also met countless people, got to know them, probably watch most of them grow old and die or just be forced to abandon them. He had to witness MC not remembering him each time she respawned without being able to do anything about it. yet bro is STILL looking for a way to save her! Mains aside he really is the main character amongst the LI's. I would argue Astra hates him more than Zayne and that's saying something.
Since we know more now about the top dog of EVER since the release of EVER maybe his backstory will be more interesting and tie all the loose ends together. If not him then maybe Astra himself. I'm really in the dark on that one.

What I don't understand tho is where Xavier gets the drug the other backtrackers go to EVER for. If I Remember correctly the guy who retrieve Grandma's data after the explosion to give it to the raincoat guy is a backtracker who requires some substance. It's hinted that he sounds old and the other backtrack Xavier finishes of in the alley is also turning into a monster. So it's safe to believe that the substance is what the backtrackers are after but Xavier uses a vile in the the side branch. Is that substance? If so, how did he get it? Did he steal it from EVER? Was it given by the same person or people who got him the collar? Why not share with the other backtrackers ? The substance AND the sleeping. pod. How do the other backtrackers who didn't join EVER sustain their youths then?

Major spoiler warning before continuing of the new Caleb story. At the end, we get a glimpse who the top of EVER is and it appears to be a gaunt , both young and old looking at the time who is quite sickly and mentions that he had been waiting for a long time to do something with MC. What if he was also a backtracker!!!! what if EVER was created by the backtrackers or an older version of time travellers. This seems improbable but we know that either going forward in the future or backwards in the past, everything surrounds EVER. So either they caused the creation of Philos which is the most probable or other time travellers messed with time and space before Xavier, also got stranded on current version of Earth and were looking for a solution and they caused the catastrophe. Kind of like a self-reinforcing loop kind of thing Again too many questions, too little answers :(
Either that or the popular belief is correct and Astra is EVER's CEO weakened I suppose, but I personally wouldn't like if that came true. And if Astra really becomes an LI, I don't know, it would leave a very spicy taste in my mouth. yes I said spicy coz that Astra really pisses me off.
