Iam a devout hindu and I celebrate all the hindu festivals. However it was the dravidian governments, particularly the dmk which helped us not only get out of poverty, but also endured we got university STEM education and made common man to become on par with higher castes. So while we welcome all these ram temple, worship etc, we also are rational people and we will always vote for parties that ensured social equality and justice like dmk.

Rama was very much venerated by the ancient Tamil saints, the Alwars. Shree Rangam temple, The largest functioning temple complex in India, very connected to the Ramayana. The diety there is considered the kula daivam of Rama like he says. This is very well known

The names are in Sanskrit and yet pronounced rather strangely. Raamayana sounds like Ramaayana by the Anchor. Then it is no longer Raama'a story but the story of Goddess Lakashmi also known as Ramaa. Sri Dushyant Sridhar ofcourse pronounces the words in Sanskrit correctly.
All temples in south India must be refurbished, uplifted and galvanise the temple economy, use the donations for Hindus education and empowerment, unite Hindus, breaking barriers, ghar wapsi etc.
