This is the pretty much the first footage I have seen of Veilguard. Not sure I'm sold yet, and I'm not even sure what it is that is putting me off. I know I definitely need to see more, before committing. Guess I wait until you start uploading videos, and make a decision then. 😁 EDIT: I think it might be the overload of coloured effects. I think of games like Shadow of Mordor, or The Witcher games, and sure they had some flashy moves. But not everything needed to have bright flashy lights, like you have just won the jackpot. Makes me wonder how bad the visual overload will be for the mage. 🤷♂
Will Add comments as I go, let us see if we will love this game!: - Very glad they add option to have helmet not visible! No point spending hours in character creator to never see him! - Skill tree so big it giving me anxiety! But i love having options too! - Agree I am not a fan of the lack of armor options, very fallout like with just full outfit rather than different pieces we can mix and match. Disappointing! Where is the love of fashion! - I like the mix of 'hack+slash' with 'real time with pause' type of combat, make for a fluid experience! - Small thing but health pot is a bit strange decision; take me out of the character mindset and making it feel more gamey - I too am worried about enemy spam, I believegame will be best if a variety of challenges await us, some requiring crowd control with large groups and others against less, more strong, enemies! Ok will cut this comment off now because i think I am talking too long! Will enjoy rest of the video!
Comment as much as you want bro! So overall what are you thinking about it? I feel like it looks like an amazing RPG but not a good Dragon Age if that makes sense
@@NewDengs my largest worry is that the game may be putting 'style' over 'substance' By this I mean the combat looks great, the skill trees look detailed and attacks seem interesting, but I worry that maybe they are putting more effort into presentation than actual deep RPG character build... I look at the skill tree they showed and see more of just stat increases instead of interesting things that change the way you will play... perhaps this is just the small thing of what they have shown but I am hoping for more I am liking the system of commanding your team will real time+pause, I think this was best part of combat in Origins that was sadly lost in 2 and Inquisition I think nailing the combat is half of the battle (the other half is writing), I hope they have not lost sight of most important thing, which is engaging character building that make each encounter feel unique when you play with a different build

I’ll be streaming it day 1 so I’ll have plenty of footage to help you decide 😉

The colours.... They added that just so you had something to complain about 😂
On a serious note, I hope theres an option to turn it off 😂
Too colourful for you too?
@@NewDengs I think it's very distracting. Had to rewatch the video to actually look at the combat. It's very in your face
