I've been using mine for over a year... Pretty much daily during the summer.
My favorite is maple syrup with sweetened condensed milk.

What up with the word craving
My son loves shaved ice so I bought him a machine for his birthday for him and his friends to use great deal compared to renting one of those expensive icee trucks that cost like 300 dollars and we can use it whenever we want great deal.

Different uses. This is to have at home for when you crave or at your leisure. Renting a truck is for event like a birthday party or a day outdoors

Thank you for your review. I want to buy this particular one and after watching your video, I think I will. If you don't want to make actual snow cones or flavored shaved ice, the shaved ice would be great in water, iced tea or soda, etc. One of my favorite summer treats is Black Cherry Kool-Aid. I use less sugar and it's just fine. This would be great with Kool-Aid. Thanks again!

Yum! That looks so good. I'm addicted to ice. I use a row of blocks in my juice everyday. If I had a place to put one of these, it would be top of my list. Reminds me of an 'icy drink machine' that was at a local pub/hotel just before covid started. I think it was sponsored by an alcohol company as it was kept only for their drinks and just for a limited time. A cocktail combined with ice- I was in heaven, despite rarely drinking alcohol!

Thanks for the review! I'm an ice eater and I need something softer! Since I'm anemic and pregnant, I've been craving ice literally everyday and I've been buying ice when I can! Why not make my own at home? Esp a much softer ice! When I can afford it, I will def buy this product! 😋 Plus I never tried condensed milk over shaved ice so I can't wait to try them both!

Have you tried using ice cubes? I’m trying with ice cubes tge machine is loud and I’m having to push down hard. The ice comes out crunchy not snowy like

@@Briaaanz I quit the protein powder now. Also I splurged and got the little snowy 2 instead of this machine. Little snowy is awesome and I still use it. Only replaced 1 blade so far. Blade is a pain to replace but overall best snow cone maker on market for home use. Spend the extra money on a lil snowy

I just came back from Maui, Hawaii and loved the shaved ice there. I must have eating 7 snow cones there during my stay. However, this does not look like what I ate there. Is there a better machine out there?

You can buy a professional machine but they cost hundreds of dollars
In your video did adjust it to make the shaves thinner or were you using it at factory setting?
I use mine at the factory setting and it has produced very fluffy snow

No, it shaves ice only, no other ingredients 😀

I want to start by thanking you for this review, i truly appreciated it. You did a really good job explaining this machine and showing the consistency of the ice.
But I really really REALLY wish people would stop confusing snow cone(crushed) ice with shaved ice.
Snow cones are commonly made with crushed ice. So it is small chuncks of ice that tend to not hold flavor syrups very well.
However shaved ice, which yes, are like snow. It is very powdery, light, and holds flavor syrups a lot better!
It's extremely disappointing to see someone say they sell shaved ice and end up with crushed snow cone ice.... like, literally made me cry as an adult disappointing. I was having a bad day already and it's not the random workers fault that the owner of the shop didn't know the difference, but I did ask for a replacement item and they were really nice even though I was being a baby about it. I honestly think the 18yr old just felt bad that she made me cry, not her fault though!
But yes, thank you for this review, I have to watch these to see because I hate snow cones (crushed ice) and so many people confuse the 2 or use them interchangeably. Which is ok if you like both, but again, is extremely disappointing if you don't.
Amen! Drives me crazy! My teeth don’t appreciate crunching ice, so it’s the only choice I have! Haha

Hi, can I use ice cubes instead?
I was going to start a snowcone stand soon called arctic cone and I wanted to buy that so I wanted to see how to use it you read my mind about the ice cubes
There are couple more made by great Northern I think but those would be better if your using for business. This is more for the home.

I bought mine on amazon and it doesn’t even turn on. So disappointed. Of course it’s a Saturday night and I won’t get a replacement for awhile
