My favorite player of all time. Great video. One of the Godfathers of power dunking. So fun when he came to LA. Magic loved dishing to him on the break because nobody finished better: that says a lot with Worthy, Cooper, Scott etc.
I got Worthy over Orlanda when it comes to finishing, his hand eye coordination was insane. He makes catching no look bullet passes with one hand look easy.
One of the most underrated player of his generation. Sadly, his addictions cost him a place in the HOF : he was an excellent scorer and shooter, a efficient passer and could lock down, from time to time, his matchup.
He was one of my favorite players to watch, but let's be realistic...he was a pretty average player. Woolridge was a finisher. He could dunk on anybody, but he wasn't very good at creating offense in the half court. He was just good at selling tickets with slam dunks. His defense was sub-par...too soft...not a rebounder. I'm just glad to see someone compile a highlight video. He made basketball entertaining to watch.
You’re writing him off. He could’ve been a legitimate star and one of the best forwards in the game, if not for his drug problems and injuries all throughout his career.
Over analyze these nutz...Big O would go down your neck either hand...His best season in the NBA he averaged 25 & 7...In that era???...His stats ain't padded they was real ferociousnes & he kept the fans thoroughly entertained...Is that not what thee NBA is for???? To entertain the fans...I Loved to watch Big O he always gave u your money's worth...Rest in Paradise Legend...For no Man is Perfect...👊 love ❤
@@stutru1873 He did it with the '91 Nuggets, so his stats were padded alright. They ran and gunned with no defense, didnt care to win whatsoever, game up 130 ppg and averaged 120. So the opponent teams let it happen cause they knew there was no way to lose versus that tactic. Michael Adams had absurd numbers in that system also. Really liked Big O though, RIP
i always admired orlando amazing dunks

He was my fav player on the chi bulls before MJ got there.. athletic and could shoot pass rebound & attack the rim RIP
Pretty sure he was one of the best dunkers of the 80's

Yes, is was very underrated in his era imo as well.
"...and could lock down, from time to time,..." From time to time? Well, his nickname was "O," not "D." LOL.
The thoughts of him, MJ, Reggie Theus, and Pippen on the Bulls would have been awesome 😊
Muchas Gracias!👍
This was an awesome video bro!! This should have a lot of views
Monster
@2:17 Byron Scott wearing "00"? Lol

You had to outgun those Nuggets back in those days. No my friend Woolridge was legit and a legend. @@ΠατροκλοςΓεωργιοςΟικονομοπουλο
Forgot how much of a tank Woolridge was.
He was the only good player besides MJ on the bulls before they drafted Scottie. RIP
Quintin Dailey was a decent player as well.
George Gerving (The Ice-Man) was on that squad, Charles Oakley, John Paton and Sidney Green.
rip
I used to fish at Castaic lake with "O".
